After coming up with a sandwich technique of releasing his two films 'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' and 'Shiva' on weeks before and after Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna', there were murmurs all over if Ram Gopal Verma would indeed be able to pull it off!
While 'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' indeed released last Friday [and hasn't made much impact since with all chances of a lukewarm show in coming weeks once KANK arrives on 11th August], 'Shiva' has now been moved from 18th August to 25th August. This Mohit Ahlawat-Nisha Kothari starrer comes with a trademark RGV stamp but surprisingly doesn't come with much hype expect for its satellite promos. This is astonishing since any Factory product never fails to create a buzz whereas in case of 'Shiva' that doesn't seem to be the case even when RGV himself is at the director's helm.
One hopes that while the euphoria for KANK settles down in a couple of weeks time, RGV would pump up the tempo for 'Shiva' and go aggressive in the promotional campaign to create more awareness about the film!
