Sandeepa Dhar, who plays a police officer in the upcoming investigative thriller '7 Hours To Go', says she suffered injuries while performing action stunts for the movie.
Sandeepa told IANS: "I had started training before shooting and the injuries had started since that time. Of course, while doing action, injuries happen and I had suffered several injuries shooting for this film.
"The whole action sequence was very strenuous as we shot in the extreme heat in Mumbai. I would get sunburnt and we dealt with harness, which is very uncomfortable."
The "Isi Life Mein" actress said her action sequences were with male fighters.
"These were hand-to-hand combat and since they are so used to fighting, they wouldn't get hurt. But my hands would get swollen, so I had to keep icing it," she said.
Her character's name is Nandini Shukla, who has just seven hours to solve a case.
About the preparation for the role, Sandeepa said: "I had to really research a lot as I didn't know much about cops. I had to understand their body language, how they are in real life, how different they are from the normal people."
"7 Hours To Go", directed by Saurabh Verma, also stars Shiv Pandit, Natasa Stankovic and Varun Badola among others. The film will hit the screens on Friday.
