Brandon Routh, who played Superman and Clark Kent in 'Superman Returns', will play a supernatural private investigator Dylan Dog in Ashok Amritraj's forthcoming film 'Dead Of Night' based on the best-selling Italian comic-book series Dylan Dog.
Created by Tiziano Sclavi, the series was first published in 1986 and has been translated into 17 languages till date. Amritraj's production company Hyde Park Entertainment has teamed up with LA-based comic-book company Platinum Studios to co-produce the film.
'Dead Of Night' will be directed by Kevin Munroe, who directed last year's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' (TMNT).
Amongst other films, Hyde Park Entertainment is currently producing 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li' directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li, 'The Dark Country' which marks actor Thomas Jane's directorial debut for Sony's new Stage 6 label, and 'The Other End of the Line' directed by James Dodson and starring Jesse Metcalfe with Shriya Saran.
