The entire team of the Toonz located in Tiruvandram is presently busy working to shortlist the titles and corner on a single story for the animated flick. A total of 100 to 150 creative artists are planned to make this project take shape into a cinema.
Toonz animation's CEO P Jayakumar said, 'I rely high hopes on this proposal as its chandamama stories that shaped our minds when we were young. It's now time for the contemporary generation kids to know our classics in the form of a featurette. And we will be rendering our best efforts to churn the movie commercially successful too.'
Founded in 1999, Toonz's client list includes the biggest names in media and entertainment sector like Marvel, Hallmark, Paramount, Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network.
Chandamama was conceptualized in 1947 by veteran film makers B. Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani and since then the company is publishing stories in over 14 languages. The combination of these two houses is speculated and they are out to bring out a quality movie for the children.
