Tavarina Siri Review

The redeeming feature of this family sentimental package is the spectacular music and lyrics by Hamsalekha and equally good portrayal by Shivrajkumar and Daisy Boppanna. This is a pleasant, peerless and pretty interesting film. Do good to others it bounces back when you are in dire straits is all about the film in a nutshell.

Nothing turns out for worst in this film 'Thavarina Siri'. There are a few villainish minds and they too get corrected ala 'Yajamana' (Vannatha Polai) style. Yet in the present genre director Saiprakash with a gripping tale of Ajaykumar has done good justice. Nowhere you would find it bore. The lack of theory of connectivity is there only when senseless comedy appear on screen.

Muthanna (Shivarajkumar) is a man of nerves, mind of butter and heart of Good Samaritan. Getting up in his life from a piece of land he grows to the highest esteem. He is a landlord, industrialist and milk merchant. His one point agenda in life is to help but not to take help. This lesson he has learnt from his younger days. He has three sisters. Two are uneducated and another is brilliant. In the rich and affluent family enters Daisy who is hit badly in her life. In the house of 'Dharmathma' - Muthanna she also get a job to eke out her life. Things now start working badly for Muthanna. He is cheated to the extent of Rs.1.5 crore and he agrees for massive wedding for his last sister marriage with top businessman son. That makes him to go for loan and eventually bring him to streets. He gives everything in his life and left nothing in life to give. The fortune in the life of Muthanna opens again. He gets back the money he got duped and it is back to square in his life.

The image of Shivarajkumar further catapults with this type of film. He has done a nice job as big brother and in the dance and action scenes he is exhilarating. Daisy looks circumspect in the role. There is some scope for her to exhibit her talent and she has done a fine job. Ramesh Bhat is a goot competitor to the best supporting awards from this film. He reminds K.S.Ashwath of 'Kasturi Nivasa' blockbuster.

Three of the six tunes are hummable, catchy and well choreographed on screen too. SPB song 'Hasidaga Anna€¦ would become an all time hit.

Giri has captured the luxury that is fed to the camera very well. The editing by Sounderrajan is quite interesting.

This is a family entertainer.
