Good taste is the flower of good sense! Great thoughts come from the heart. That is exactly 'Care of Footpath' of world famous Master Kishen. This is like bright sunshine and cool breeze too. It is a respite for children who are denied education and a cool in its narration. Every scene of this film is well thought. The adjustment made with the inclusion of prominent stars to this film by child prodigy Master Kishen is in right spirit but it is nicely tucked in the film. That is the brilliance in narration.

The poverty, hunger for education, the middlemen muddle, the politics, the rebel of the youth, his determination, the thought provoking issue of below the age mentioned for SSLC writing the examination ?? like a pleasant snow fall despite the issues snowballing makes it very easy to sit through. It makes us to think on the current situation.

Where Master Kishen wins his battle is in the selection of Vagdevi (Mr Udaya Marakini and H.Girish Rao senior journalists) screenplay and another senior journalist Mysooru Harish dialogues. The trio handling these two departments and the leading artistes taking up their respective jobs has become definitely easy task for Master Kishen. This is 'Kishen Ka Kamaal'!
This is a film with a cause and social commitment. Stricken with poverty Slummu (Master Kishen) is brought from a footpath by an old lady to the house. He is eager to get education as he grows. He is a rag picker with his age boys and girls to eke out a living. He is brilliant and he is clever in meeting the small ends in life. He comes to know the value of education and his age group going to school makes him demand with his aged grandmother to get education. To his bad luck he is prolonged in his ambition by local politician Ranga (Saurab Shukla). He is treated like a dust and pooh-poohed. He does not lose courage and get hold of a teacher. In a dramatic incident he saves the teacher with right medical attention. This turns the luck on Slummu. He is taken by Father of the school and thus the vital issue crops up. Slummu is hell bent on taking 10 th standard examination for which his age is not permissible. A committee that is appointed by the education department in consultation with the chief minister of Karnataka (played by Jackie Shroff) properly examines the ability of Slummu to take 10 th standard examination. Slummu turns victorious and thus becomes the youngest to complete SSLC examination. He supersedes those who are given ample care and sent to school.

The one point agenda of education for slum children has been very well taken care. But his fellow slum children who still do the rag picking could have been given a chance to get school admission.

It is master Kishen all the way. The make up and costume to him, his dialogue delivery, innocence he displayed and of course his approach to this role is delectable. The presence of Jackie Shroff, Ambarish, Sudeep, Thara, Deepti, Jayashri lifts up the image of the film.

The cinematography by Mathew Rajan is convincing. Ravi Dattatreya of USA has given very melodious tunes. Ranga Nin Mele Kwapa Aithe Kopa Aithe Rosha Aithe?¦., Suryanalli Kanallilla Belakanu Chandranallalli Kanalilla Thampanu, Ivala Kannali Kande Preethi Kanasanu, Appa Illamma Amma Illamma Naanenu Madabakamma?¦.., have been lilting.

You cannot miss this film. Child prodigy Master Kishen master piece is 'Care of Footpath' made with lot of care.
