Preethi Hangama Review

Compared to various inconsequential films of today Vivek Raj’s film ‘Preethiya Hangama’ is fair. The screenplay tautness should have been there and no point in explaining what the characters are up to. At least some clue Vivek Raj should have kept in suspense. Secondly this climax has been often repeated on silver screen, also should have come to his notice.

Managing various fields in his debut Vivek Raj looks good, grandeur and pleasant viewing in a ponderous style is fit for the television viewers.

Target for Raj (Vivek Raj) to get the diamond ad project and writing special article for Geetha (Shuba Punja) for the 100th edition of the magazine is clear. Raj has to know more about woman and Geetha has to put the boy in pitiable condition after staging a love drama. From the experiences both decide to get their targets.

In the process of knowing each other Raj unknowingly falls in love. Raj takes Geetha to his parents’ house and as expected, the love and affection extended by the family members moves Geetha and she is bowled over by the feel good factor.

Vivek Raj shines in his debut as hero. He has that screen presence, ability to perform and dance. Shuba Punja looks very fat in the first half and her pranks, looks are mesmerizing. Avinash as boss in the Ad Company and Ananthnag head of the traditional family gathers good attention.

Raj Kiran lends two lovely tunes - Himse Himse Himseno Hennu andre Himsenu….is well captured and sung. Surio Sone Malege is too melodious. Chandrasekhar’s expertise in the camera has added value to the film.
