Mohini is an Indian actress who has acted in South Indian films, mainly in Malayalam and Tamil . She is the daughter of V.Srinivasan and Sundari. They both work in the famous Madras Race Club. She has a younger brother. Her father was approached by director K.R, after a lot of thoughts her father accepted the offer. She was only thirteen years old when she started her career in 1990 with the movie Eeramana Rojave. She discontinued her studies and started concentrating in movies. She married Bharath in 1999 and moved to United States. She discontinued her B.S., M.D. dual degree to take care of her first born son. Even though she took a break from movies for 2 years after her marriage, she is now acting in several South Indian Movies. Though there was rumour of a divorce, she is still married to Bharath proving everyone wrong. Bharath is in a senior position in a software company. Mohini is now settled in the United States and has two children. She travels to India frequently.

She was having an ad agency and celebrity management company. She took a temporary break from films to take care of her second baby. She does preaching and social services through her church. She is a singer, classical dancer and an martial arts student. She can speak all five south Indian languages. Her father-in-law was a commodore of Indian navy Mr.Krishnaswamy
