Biography

Harikrishna made his acting debut as a child artist in Sri Krishnavataram as Bala Krishna in 1964 directed by Kamalakara Kameshwara Rao. He then starred in Talla Pellamma (1970) which was followed by Tatamma Kala (1974), Daana Veera Shura Karna (1977) and Siva Rama Raju (2002). His notable film is Seetayya (2002) directed by YVS Chowdary.

---The senior TDP leader, Hari Krishna has been stopped when he was travelling by road from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. The Telangana activists wanted blocked him on the way in the Nalgonda district and during this time, the TDP and the TRS activists clashed with each other. Later speaking to the media, Harikrishna, who is an avowed Samaikyawadi, claimed that he does not oppose the formation of Telangana state and he is in favor of creating a separate state if the Telangana people want it. This change in Hari Krishna is being viewed by many people as the by-poll effect.
