Hyde Park Entertainment owned by the Hollywood film producer Ashok Amritraj has signed a collaboration deal worth $250 million with Imagenation Abu Dhabi from United Arab Emirates (UAE) to make 20 films over the span of next seven years.
Till now Ashok Amritraj has produced nine films under his production banner which was started in 1999.
Imagenation Abu Dhabi is wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Media Company which was started just recently in September.
Hyde Park Entertainment has also decided to start a regional headquarters at Twofour54 which is a media zone started by the Abu Dhabi government for making the region a heaven for creative content making companes by providing the latest facilities which will enable both the local and international film production companies, broadcast agencies, publishing houses and digital and music industries to carry out the operations.
CNN, Random House, Rotana Studios, BBC, ADMC, Thomson Reuters Foundation, Harper Collins and Financial Times are some of the companies that will start their hubs in the media zone shortly.
Films will be produced spreading over the different film industries in the world starting from Hollywood to the Asian film industries under the new production partnership between Hyde Park and Imagenation.
