From quite sometime a particular newspaper has almost been stuck with gossip about Shiney Ahuja, as if a bee to honey. But the actor seems least perturbed. "Well, I try to concentrate on my work, but I don't think people seem to like that," he laughs and adds, "I don't subscribe to all papers but they want to continue writing and keep creating stories about me."
At times, Shiney finds such gossipy stories about himself quite amusing. "I get up in the morning and sometimes my publicist Dale (Bhagwagar) calls me up and informs a publication has written this about you. I ask him, 'how's the photograph' and he mostly says it's nice. Then I just chill."
Luckily for Shiney, negative write-ups on him haven't deterred any maker from approaching the actor. He's got three big releases ( Anurag Basu's 'Metro' opposite Shilpa Shetty, Sudhir Mishra's 'Khoya Khoya Chand' opposite Soha Ali Khan and Priyadarshan's 'Bhool Bhulaiya' opposite Vidya Balan) lined up for release in the coming months.
After these, he'll be seen in an untitled film on bike racing (hey, do we see tough competition for John Abraham?). Last but not the least; Shiney is paired opposite Priety Zinta in nine-time National Award winner Jahnu Barua's 'Har Pall'. Way to go!
