Unperturbed by the poor opening that has his recent release CHODDON NAA YAAR has got at the box office, Jimmy Sheirgill still is a happy man. Reason? He has been appreciated almost in all reviews as his performance has been noticed once again by all those who matter.
Jimmy Sheirgill is earnest as always and is turning out to be extremely natural in front of the camera with every passing film. In fact he doesn't seem to be acting at all if one looks at his recent crop of films [EKLAVYA, DELHII HEIGHTS, RAQEEB, VICTORIA NO. 203] and deserves to be re-launched in a big way by a reputed banner and a film maker. Anyone listening?
Says Jimmy, "It is nice to see your work being noticed when a film of yours releases. Yet again, critics as well as those who have seen the movie have been unanimous in acknowledging my act. I just hope that one day I have a project coming my way which would work in entirety for me by not just getting me critical acclaim but also earn money in a big way."
Before 2007 comes to a close, Jimmy would be seen in at least two films - Sanjay Gupta's DUS KAHANIYAAN and debutant director Anand L Rai's STRANGERS.
