The actress won the award for her role in romantic comedy drama Tanu Weds Manu Returns. "My birthday was a low key affair after the mess that I have been going through. I felt I am in a good place but there was so much happening around me, so I didn't celebrate it. But with this win, I guess everything has been flushed out and I am looking at that silver lining.

The diva also revealed that she is planning to celebrate this win with small gathering for the people who supported her in her tough times. For the uninitiated, this is Kangana Ranaut's third trophy. She has previously won the National Awards for movies like Fashion and Queen. On the work front, Kangana will next be seen in Rangoon. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film will hit the screen on October 14 this year.
