It always happens whenever a biggie is about to hit the screens! Numerous movies try to arrive as soon as possible before a biggie takes over majority of theatres, be it in single screen or multiplexes.
The same is happening in the case of 'Fanaa' that arrives on May 26th. So far, it is the sole release of the week and no wonder there are as many as 4 films vying for screen space a week before 'Fanaa' arrives. Ankahee, Aatma and Sacred Evil - A True Story along with Aparichit-The Stranger (that may get pushed to June) are the four films in question that have so far been slated for a May 19th release.
In fact numerous biggies have kept a distance from 'Fanaa' for at least 2 weeks as both 'Chup Chup Ke' and 'Phir Hera Pheri' arrive only on June 9th while 'Krrish' comes on June 23rd. This gives 'Fanaa' more or less an open month with only 2 movies for competition in the entire month of June, hence paving its way for being a money spinner this summer.
