My dear Kuttichathan was Indias first 3D film released more than 15 years ago in Malayalam. It was dubbed in Hindi as Chota Chetan and was released all over India.
3D which gives a heightened sense of reality will have astounding effect in a horror film. According to Varma, viewers would not be removed from happenings on screen. After offering a realistic media story in Rann, RGV is back on news with Warning.
RGVs film company Factory announced film Warning as India's first ever horror film made in 3D. The tagline of Warning is 'You might die'. This 3D horror film will have 4D experience and the 4th dimension is death says RGV.
Riteish Deshmukh is the star in Warning.
Varma has earlier lingered with supernatural thrillers like Bhoot, Darna Mana Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai and Phoonk .
He will launch second part of Phoonk, directed by Milind Gadagkar in April this year.
The film will be set in exotic locations and packed with never seen sequences.
It is little known that Manirathnam directed Thiruda Thiruda was written by RGV. Varma who was considered as a genius has lately deteriorated his image. His critics degrade this effort as 3D technology's application on B-grade movies.
