If there is one film maker who has never felt shy of criticizing his own work and made a promise to come up with better results in his future ventures, it is Ram Gopal Verma.
This time around it is the turn of his experimental film 'Darna Mana Hai'. And he uses none other than his latest release 'Darna Zaroori Hai' as a platform to create all the fun.
The story in question is the opening sequence directed by Sajid Khan that has Manoj Pahwa as the lead protagonist who loves to watch a movie FIRST DAY "LAST" SHOW for some special reasons. And on one of his special Fridays, he chooses to watch DARNA MANA HAI. And guess what happens when he visits the theatre? It is all EMPTY with a young pair doing their coochie-coo in the back seat and a bored ticket checker sleeping on one of the wooden chairs inside the theatre.
First it's the turn of Viveik Oberoi to be the target of Sajid/RGV [Remember the story in DMH where Viveik Oberoi was a ghost and Nana Patekar gets to know about it once he sees the eyeless Oberoi after he removes the glasses!] Pahwa evokes laughter when he exclaims, "You look like a ghost even with goggles on, so big deal"!
If this was not enough then no bones is made about the fact that the film bores Pahwa to the hilt. That's the reason he asks a simple question when the end credits roll - "Mujhe Ram Gopal Verma ka address batao. Mujhe is picture ka refund chahiye [Someone give me Ram Gopal Verma's address as I need the film's refund]."
Now can someone beat Sajid/Ramu's sense of humor here.
