As soon as Kabir Khan’s [earlier directed New York] next with Salman Khan in the lead went around circles speculations were bound to happen regarding its casting and the title of the film. After Salman put an end to the rumors that he’s not doing a super hero flick with Kabir Khan but only a hero flick, a title came into limelight.
This Salman Khan’s new film with Kabir Khan under Yashraj films on the lines of romantic thriller is titled as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Salman said that “Aditya Chopra and he had met before on various projects, however, he was absolutely convinced when approached by Kabir and Aditya for this film”. “I’m honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past,” added Salman.
Yash Chopra, speaking about the project, said it was a very happy moment for him. “Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir’s edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project.”
Kabir Khan and Neelesh Mishra have written the screenplay and dialogues while Aseem Mishra will be the DOP. Aseem had earlier worked with Kabir on 'New York'. Pritam will score the music of the movie.
Salman and Katrina did shot for a photo shoot yesterday for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Though another title Sher Khan was locked first it seems that the makers right now finalized ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
And regarding the photo shoot both Salman and Kat were looking smokin hot.
