Amy Thanawala, erstwhile assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali ('Khamoshi') and John Mathew Mathan ('Sarfarosh') makes her directorial debut with 'Suno Na', being made under the banner of Cinema-Kollage. The film is now complete and being readied for early release.
The film revolves around an unwed mother. Spurned by her lover, she takes an extreme step and decides to commit suicide. However, it dawns on her about the child she has been carrying. Why kill the innocent unborn for no fault of hers? She decides to move to a city, find work, give birth to the child and start a new life.
The film takes a humorous turn when the mother and the child in the womb start talking to each other; even sing a duet. The child wants to know many things, including about her father. The story also revolves around three men who come in her life during these nine months.
Tara Sharma plays the leading role in the film. This is her first film after her marriage.
