Sri Lankan beauty Jacquelyn Fernandez has been in news for getting good films and banners under her belt. She first created news in the B City by bagging a role in Sujoy Ghosh's film Aladdin, wherein she would be working alongside none other than the Big B.
Said the excited Jaq, 'I never dreamt that I would be debuting in Bollywood with Mr. Bachchan. He is such a great actor.' She continued saying, 'I was initially worried about facing the camera and producing the correct expressions to support the act. But my guru Mr. Barry John made it look easy for me to get into the acting mould. I am much more confident and comfortable now, than what I was when I had won the beauty pageant. Jacqueline just got her second film Jaane Kahaan se Aayi Hai which is jointly produced by Nikhil Advani & Mukesh Talreja.
She is not the only one who has learnt acting from Barry John. Even Daggubati Rana, grandson of Ramoji Rao had come to him from Hyderabad to learn the nuances of acting. Then another student of theirs, Adhwet, has found his footing at Ram Gopal Varma as lead for film 'Contract'.
The best thing about Barry John Acting Studio is the fact that it focuses completely on acting only.
Comments the guru Barry John, "In three months what all can you really train a student in? Learning little bit of everything does not make a good artiste. I teach them what I know the best and that is acting. In fact I myself take their classes very regularly, because they are coming to my school because they have faith in me. I do not leave their training only with my other trainers. I am as involved in everyday classes as everybody else, may be more. As for dancing, fighting , yoga etc are concerned, let them go to the best to make a perfect actor."
