The man with the cap-n-stubble is going places. Himesh Reshammiya till the last count has delivered 31 hits. And now he is packing his bags to do a bilingual film 'Dasavatharam' in which maestro Kamal Haasan shall be playing ten roles. Reshamiya says that Kamal will be involved with most aspects of 'Dasavatharam'.
The film is being readied for a Hindi as well as Tamil release and workaholic Reshammiya isn't perturbed by the idea of composing to Tamil lyrics as he would be having a translator who would be explaining the nuances of the language. 'It's not a big deal. Music is a universal language and it will be an interesting challenge,' he says.
Himesh Reshammiya is busy charting new territories. He has signed 'Ram Gopal Verma's Sholay', Sanjay Gupta's 'Alibaug', Ahmed Khan's 'Fool and Final', Anil Sharma's 'Apne' and Abbas Mastan's next. He has also been shaking hands with the Darshan Brothers Sunil and Dharmesh who have always been Nadeem-Shravan loyalists.
The big break for Reshamiya came when he signed Vipul Shah's 'Namaste London' where he shall be working with Javed Akhtar as the lyricist for the first time. It's quite clear that the man-with-the-cap is not going anywhere for a long time. He shall rain more hits in the river of music'
