The Karnataka state government has released Rs.3 lakhs of medical aid to veteran actor K.S.Ashwath and Rs.1 lakh for ailing veteran actor cum producer M.P.Shanker recently. The cheque of Rs.3 lakhs to K.S.Ashwath was handed over to him at his Kalashri residence by Mysore DC S.Selvakumar on Sunday.
