The controversial director Ravi Srivatsa's fourth film locked in the censor battle 'Maadesha' is finally releasing on 29th with revised 'A' certificate. The regional censor board has asked the director to prune many of the scenes and tone down the climax. With necessary changes and re-dubbing from actor Shivarajakumar the film was given nod for the release by strict regional censor chief in Bangalore Mr Chandrasekhar. The earlier three films of director Ravi Srivatsa 'Deadly Soma, Ganda Hendathi and a boy friend (a remake of 'Murder' Hindi cinema) and Yee Rajeev'Gandhi Alla', fared poorly in the box office except 'Deadly Soma' fought the censor battle.
'Maadesha' is releasing in 93 centers showing 372 shows a day is also a record. 'Maadesha' is produced by Goverdhana Murthy in the banner of LG Anupam Film city. GSV Seetharam is the cameraman while melody king Mano Murthy has scored the music. Stunts are handled by Thriller Manju. Shivarajakumar, Sonu Bhatia, Ravi Belegere, Ravi Kale, Ramesh Pandit, Harish Rai, Padmaja Rao, Dattanna, Bullet Prakash, Muni, Raghu, Kote Prabhakar and Jaggesh son Yathi is in the cast.
