Vijay Raghavendra and Nidhi Subbaiah starrer Nanna Ninna Prema Kathe, which was scheduled for release on July 1, has been postponed by a week to July 8. The success of this film is very crucial to both the lead artists as Vijay Raghavendra has been looking for success for some time now and he is hoping this will be the much needed break for him. Also this is the comeback movie for Nidhi whose last film was 2012 release Anna Bond, starring Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and directed by Duniya Suri.
The movie is directed by debutant Shivu Jamakhandi who has been around as lyricist for some time now. The film is bankrolled by Anand P Nyamagowda under his banner AB Cinema Creations. Apart from directing, Shivu has written story, screenplay, lyrics and composed the music for the film. The music of the movie was launched on the occasion of hero Vijay Raghavendra's birthday.
Highlight of the album is that songs are sung by five actors, and no professional singers have been used. Real Star Upendra, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, Vijay Raghavendra, Nidhi Subbaiah and Chikkanna have sung one song each. Apart from Vijay and Nidhi, Tilak Shekar, Chikkanna, Gururaj Hoskote, Sudha Belwadi are playing important roles.
Dharma Vish is providing the background score for the movie. Madan-Harini are the choreographers. Mass Mada has taken care of action sequences. Trade pundits say postponing the release date by a week is very good for this movie as July 1 was already crowded with Ganesh and Radhika Pandit starrer Zoom, Vinay Rajkumar's Run Antony and Anup Bhandari's Rangitaranga (Re-release).
