India's top actress Aishwarya Rai's best performance in 'Provoked' an English film based on a true story was screened for media in Bangalore at Arjun Art studio on Wednesday morning. 'Provoked' is produced by Sunanda Murali Manohar and Jag Mundhra is the director of this touching film that stir the consciousness of a sick and deeply disturbed society.
Set in London, 'Provoked' is the trauma faced by a battered Punjabi house wife Kiranjith Ahluwalia who is a mother of two children. Torching her cruel husband she is imprisoned. How Kiranjith gets relieved redefining the word provocation in the case of battered women is the crux of this film.
