'The Kannadiga politicians, whom I respect most, are acting in a nasty way to get political gains', said Superstar Rajinikanth, while talking during the hunger strike organised by Tamil film industry in Chepauk, Chennai today (April 4).
Rajini warned the leaders like Deve Gowda, Kumarasamy, Yediyuurappa, and Siddharamaiyya, that the people would teach them lesson if they continue to play with the issue for political gains. 'People are equal to God. They would not remain silent if you continue to act in such manner', thundered the Superstar.
Rajini went on to explain the legitimacy of Tamil Nadu's claim in Hoganekkal water project. He accused the veteran Kannadadiga political leaders that they were acting in such a way keeping the forthcoming election in mind. He called upon the central government to intervene to ensure justice for Tamils.
Rajinikanth requested the Tamil Nadu leaders including Kalaignar that the issue should be nipped in the bud. 'This is the right occasion for that', added the Superstar.
