Actor-director Ravichandran for the first time in his career is playing the role of a fashion designer in his recently launched film 'Shrungara'.
Director Nagendra Prasad himself announced that Ravichandran will be playing the role of a fashion guru in the film and his character is not based on any of the real life fashion gurus, but Ravichandran's character is purely fictional. 'Ravi sir's character in the film is purely fictional. But his character and mannerisms will be very close to his real life' said Nagendra Prasad.
Ravichandran said the film has the shades of his yesteryears hit 'Gadibidi Ganda', where he was seen opposite two heroines. 'I play a fashion designer in the film. The subject is based on the modelling field. There is glamour and humour in the film' said Ravichandran.
The film has two heroines in the form of Raagini and Lakshmi Rai. The film was launched recently and Sudeep sounded the clap for the first shot of the film.
