Shambu Review

A long and protracted film is good in bits and pieces. The story is wafer thin. The director has forgotten that he is living in the 21st century and makes it slow pace in narration. When one asks what ails Kannada film industry the answer to it is no proper homework. This is what exactly happened in the case of director Dwarki. For already badly hit producer Rajasekhar from 'Sardara' this is going to be disgusting again?

Rough and tough Shambu (Murali) does not believe in sentiments. He is a self made man. He has been like a rock. The rocky in style Shambu slowly melts down when he is taught what love is by Sahana (Maanya). She takes him to an orphan house picks a less than year old baby and asks him to maintain it for one day. In the examination Shambu wins as well as loses. What he loses is his stubborn nature and what he gains is love and affection. Soon he is behind Sahana and he has fallen in love with her. In the meanwhile Shambu is wanted by two gangsters Ramanath and Naidu but he is not ready budge to anyone.
