There is a perception among people that Film Actors who made it big are actually poor in the academics. But, Samantha proves them wrong with close to 90% marks in her 10th half-yearly examination which she appeared in 2001 December. On Thursday, The Pretty Actress shared her progress card on which it was written - 'She has done well. She is an asset to the school' after she managed to bag the 1st Rank out of 43 Students in her Class. 'Mommy and I going through old report cards . She proud ,I surprised . This happened,' she wrote.
10th Anniversary: Dil Raju's early morning messages
August 9th marks the 10th anniversary of Dil Raju's super stunning production venture "Bommarillu" that has Siddharth and Genelia in the leads, while director Bhaskar's maverick treatment to script is top notch. On this occasion, Dil Raju has suprised total crew of the film including director Bhaskar, his cinematographer Vijay Chakravarthy, composer Devi Sri Prasad and others with his message. Apparently his SMS read, "It has been 10 years since Bommarillu released and while we have all moved on in our lives, this film always brings back fond memories. Your association with Bommarillu makes us family and I would like to thank you all once again for this momentous film - Dil Raju" That's a nice gesture from Dil Raju, being the producer of the film.
'Avakai Biryani' audio on 10th
Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd makes the movie 'Avakai Biryani' starring Kamal Kamaraju and Bindu Madhavi as the lead cast. Anish Kuruvilla is debuting as a director with this movie, produced jointly by Shekhar Kammula and Chandrasekhar Kammula. Filming is completed and the movie is through post production work. In connection with this the director and producers of the film met the press on 5th, at Prasad Lab, Hyderabad. Speaking to the press Shekhar Kammula said, "Since my first film 'Dollar Dreams', Anish has been associated with me as an executive producer. He is debuting as a director with this film which I am producing on our own banner. I liked the story when he narrated it, and decided to produce it. The story line is fresh, with a resemblance to the stories of 'Mallgudi'. The direction has been done solely by Anish, with out any contribution or supervision from my side. The subject of the film is a romantic love story, between an six seat auto driver and a girl who is a mango pickle seller. We began the shooting on 18th March. Most of the talkie portion was filmed in the locales of Vikarabad. We have chosen an all new cast and crew for the film. The audio will be released on 10th this month." Director Anish said, "The film is made on a new genre of love. We are presenting delightful music through the audio. I convey my thanks to Shekhar Kammula for giving me this opportunity." The main cast includes Kamal Kamaraju, Bindu Madhavi, Rao Ramesh, Kameswara Rao, Praneeth, Durgesh, Varun Jonnada. The music is composed by Manikanth Kadri, lyrics by Vanamali, cinematography by Shyam Dutt, Producers are Shekhar Kammula & Chandrasekhar Kammula, story,screenplay & direction by Anish Kuruvilla.
'Telugu Sravanthi's 10th Anniversary on Nov 7
An association of NRI's in Dubai known as 'Telugu Sravanthi Cultural Association' has been rendering cultural services to the Telugu community in Dubai for the past 10 years. The 10th Anniversary of this association is going to be celebrated on 7th of this month. On this occasion, Tollywood artists AVS, Madhu Shalini, Geetha Singh, Jaiprakash Reddy, Harikishan, Jayalalitha, Raghubabu, Naresh and others will be present who are also a part of this show. AVS handles the organization of this show that is to be held in Sharjah. He leads the team of the people mentioned above to bring out this grand show. Hari Kishan is planned to stage a mimicry show and a team from Nizamabad is going to perform a folk dance. Apart from this, an entertaining drama 'Pellaniki Pelli' by Janardhan Maharshi is also a part of the show. Apart from the cine artists, Speaker of AP Assembly Mr. Suresh Reddy, TTD Chariman Adikeshavulu Naidu and few other prominent persons will grace the occasion as the important official guests. The organization was started in 1998 to promote unity and integrity of India and to promote a mutual symbiotic benefit among the UAE based Teluguites. It will be completing 10 years since its foundation on November 7.
'Indumathi' audio on 10th
'Andaru Dongale' starring Rajendra Prasad, Prabhu Deva, Ankitha and Kiran Rathod spurred expectation which was directed by 'Nidhi' Prasad. It was the first venture produced by Harsha Reddy on Geo Media banner. Presently, playing the double role of a producer and a director Harsha Reddy is making his second as a suspense thriller titled as 'Indumathi'. The film has the lead roles played by Sivaji, Swetha Bharadwaj. This film, made on high standards technically, is presently in the post-production. The audio of the film is being releasing on 10th of this month.
‘Orange’ will release on Nov 10th
Ramcharan Teja upcoming movie ‘Orange’ (O range love story), is all set to release for Diwali. The movie is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Nagendrababu under the banner of Anjana Productions. Shooting of the movie is almost completed, while the last song of the movie is being shot in Ramanaidu Studios on Ramcharan Teja and Genelia in Hyderabad. It may take another couple of days to complete the Shoot. Shahzahn Padamsee is also playing another female lead in the movie apart Genelia and Madhurima, heroine of ‘Saradaga Kasepu’ fame is going to play a prominent role in the film. Nagendra Babu is very keen to wrap up all the things to release the film on November 10th as diwali gift. If every thing goes according to the plan, the audio will be out on October 17. Harris Jayraj has scored the music.
