Canning of a song is in progress for a lady-oriented film with Charmme in the lead, directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by P Maheshbabu and D Nageswara Rao on the banner of Cosmos Entertainment at Annapurna Seven acres studio in Hyderabad. Director says, 'The entire subject revolves around the incident that occurred in 16 days and hence we chose to keep the title as '16 Days'. The song was scripted by Bhaskarabhatla, tuned by Dharan and choreographed under the direction of Chinni Prakash. Charmme says, 'With the canning of this song, the shooting part would be wrapped up. I am playing the role of 'Angel' in this film, which I played never before and would be one of the best roles in my career. The film had several thrilling incidents. The hero meets the heroine and within 16 days they fall in love and there was an unexpected turn of events on the last day.' Chinni Prakash says, 'After a long gap, I choreographed a song in Telugu. Charmme is an excellent dancer and is showing very good ease in the steps.' Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla says, 'All the songs in the film would be quite novel.' Aravind, who worked as co-director with Maniratnam, is being introduced to the Telugu film industry as hero through this movie. Manorama, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayaprakash Reddy, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ramjagan and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sukumar, while story, screenplay and direction are by Prabhu Solomon.
'16 days' completes shooting

'16 Days' wraps up shoot

Producer says, 'A boy and a girl were forced to stay together for about 16 days due to some unforeseen circumstances. What kind of situation they faced during their stay. Did they face any problem? Did they fall in love with each other? There would be a key chain with the heroine and there is an interesting story behind it. The entire film runs on an interesting note and it would also give an thrilling experience to the audiences.' Manorama, Jayaprakash, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ramjagan and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sukumar, music is by Dharan, while dialogues are by Nivas.
16 days get readying for show
Played by a young charming lady heroin Charmee in the lead role with a new face who plays the male lead, by Aravind, has completed the shooting and gone for post production. The film is directed by talented Tamil director Prabhu Solomon who has worked with frontline actors like Vikram and Karan on their movies King and Kokki. He was associated with a one and only best director award holder Agathiyan. P.Mahesh Babu and D.Y. Chowdary together are producing the film on Cosmo Entertainments banner. There was a press meet in which the heroine launched the official website (16daysmovie.com)of the film. The film is an end-to-end entertainer mixed thrill, and also a unique treatment of plot. All updated technology is utilized and director has lot of effort to make the movie to look like a Hollywood one. However, much emphasized has been the charm and glamour appeal of the heroine which hoped mesmerizes the audience. Meanwhile, for the first time in Tollywood Sony Music Company releases the audio of the movie. It has planned to set the release during the third week of August. Cast of the film includes, Charmee, Aravind, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayprakash, Dheeraj, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Manorama, Ramjagan. '16 Days' has different dimensions
The bilingual film '16 Days' directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by P Maheshbabu and DY Choudary on the banner of Cosmos Entertainment with Charmme as heroine and a debutant Aravind as hero is busy in post-production works. Charmme says, 'The title is very apt for the movie. I am playing the role of a girl called 'Angel'. What are the incidents that occurred in a 16-day period on Angel's life is the subject. It is my favourite character and is very positive. After portraying the character, I too turned very positive. I used to mimic popular film personalities including Rajankant, Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth, Pawan Kalyan, Raviteja, Sunil and others. I do mimicry too in the film. For that I did a lot of homework too. The film got a very good music and the picturisation is also worth watching. I liked one romantic song picturised in the movie.' Director Prabhu Solomon says, 'The character played by Charmme would be very different. The story had different dimensions. Even the music values would be quite high. Post-production works are in brisk progress. We are making efforts to launch the audio by the end of August and release the film in the third week of September.' '16 DAYS' audio launch next month
The audio launch of the bilingual film titled as '16 DAYS' will be held on October 16. Aravind and Charmme are doing the lead roles in this film which will hit the theatres in Tamilnadu named as 'Ladam'. The audio of the Tamil version of the film has already hit the music stores. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, '16 DAYS' is being produced by D.Y.Chowdary and Mahesh Babu under the banner of Cosmos Entertainment. The film has already wrapped up its production and now the post-production work is being finished at a rapid pace.
