'Ghatothkach' is based on a character in 'Mayabazar'. This is an animation film and is being made in seven different languages (English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali). The producer of this film is Suryadevara Vinod. According to him this film will be the best summer treat for the children this year. Talking about the technicalities involved in the making of this film the producer said that there were 35 cameras employed for filming, the first of its kind in animation films shot in India. The producer is confident that the film will hit theaters by May 23rd.The film will be released in Telugu in the coming week by T-Series. The Hindi version of this film will be released by PVR Cinemas and the Tamil version will be done by Ayangaran International. 'Ghatothkacha' is being made under the banner of Sun Animatics and the story, direction and music for this film is by the famous Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. The dubbing has been done by a series singers like S.P.Balasubrahmanyam, Deler Mehandi, Sheya Ghoshal, Sudesh Bhonsle, Shaan, and others. Suddenly last Friday of February is turning out to be the topmost choice of film makers to release their products. If 6 films were not enough for the day, there is more for company as Ravi Chopra too has decided to release Oscar nominated and now short listed 'Water' in India on 23rd February. Reports indicate that he would be starting the promotion of the film soon in India and if the film eventually gets an Oscar, it would only be a 'sone-pe-sugaaga' for this Lisa Ray-John Abraham-Seema Biswas film. The other films in the fray on February 23rd are 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.', 'Nishabd', 'Just Married', 'Provoked', '1:40 Ki Last Local' and 'Chooriyan'. Amonst these 6 films, it is only for HTPL that the makers have officially announced the release day.

Teja's 'Keka' on 23rd October
Introducing Raja and Ishani as the lead pair, the film 'Keka' is directed by Teja, produced on Chitram Movies banner. Director Teja is introducing 36 new faces to the silver screen with this disparate movie.
