After Jil Jung Juk, actor Siddharth has now signed several films and his next one will be with Kappal movie fame director Karthik krish. This film has been titled as Saithaan Ka Bachha, and is expected to commence shooting very soon. Apart from this, the actor also three more films; one with Pichaikkaran director Sasi; another one in Malayalam alongside Dileep; and the final one is the Tamil, Telugu, Hindi trilingual movie which will be officially announced on 10th June.
4 FESTIVALS COME TOGETHER FOR VIJAY?
According to the latest report, the audio and trailer of Vijay’s Bairavaa will apparently be released for Christmas 2016. Interestingly, all four major releases of Bairavaa will be on festival days if this happens. Bairavaa’s first look was released on Vinayagar Chaturthi, the teaser was released for Diwali and with the film gearing up for a Pongal 2017, we see 4 festivals playing a major role in Bairavaa’s promotion. Title/first look - Vinayagar Chaturthi Teaser - Diwali Trailer/audio - Christmas (Planned) Theatrical release - Pongal 2017 (Planned) Not sure if this is a planned move or just a coincidence. We still thought it was worthy enough to share.
'Krazzy 4' in deep trouble
Can you believe it? Four music tracks including the title track of 'Krazzy 4' are stolen from a jingle. Well that's what Ram Sampath is saying. Ram, a composer of advertisement jingles has to his credit the music soundtracks of the super hit 'Khakee' and 'Let's Talk' too. With the esteemed advertising award 'Abby' in his kitty, it is also not possible to completely do away with his allegations as a mere act to bring home some easy publicity. In a petition submitted before the court, Ram claims that title track and the remix versions are copies of his Sony Ericsson mobile ad jingle, which came out in 2007. He also has demanded a compensation of Rs 2 crores to the damages caused by the Roshan family. Now Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, their production house Filmkraft productions and Super Cassettes industries will have to give explanations to clear the charges. Time will bring out the truth and we hope the title track and its versions will not bite the dust.
4 men accused of stealing nearly 1,200 student laptops
A pair of brothers and two other men have been charged with stealing nearly 1,200 laptops bound for public school students in New Jersey after investigators determined their story about a theft didn't add up. Anton Saljanin, 43, and Gjon Saljanin, 40, were due to appear in court Thursday with Ujka Vulaj, 54, and Carlos Caceres, 37, on charges including conspiracy and theft from an interstate shipment. In January 2014, the Saljanins drove a truck from New York's Yorktown Heights to Massachusetts to pick up a shipment of 1,195 Apple MacBook Air laptops worth more than $1 million that were meant for two public high schools in New Jersey, according to prosecutors. The next day, Anton Saljanin reported to Yorktown police that the truck had been stolen. Later that day, he told police he spotted the truck in a Danbury, Connecticut, parking lot, but a window was smashed and the computers were missing, investigators said. But prosecutors say the brothers' story began to unravel as investigators looked into the case. Detectives found broken glass in the Danbury parking lot but not in the Yorktown Heights lot where they said the theft occurred. Surveillance video showed the yellow truck taking a detour toward the home of a friend of the men on the night it was said to have been stolen, prosecutors said. Investigators tracked down the buyers of the stolen laptops through an Apple registry and found Vulaj and Caceres sold them to more than a dozen people for as little as half their usual $1,000 price, prosecutors said. Lawyers for the brothers told The New York Times they expect their clients to plead not guilty at a hearing. Attorneys for the other men didn't respond to phone messages seeking comment.
4 months prior to release BHOOL BHULLAIYA creates a storm
A solitary publicity still of BHOOL BHULLAIYA has been released and within a matter of hours, the film has turned out to be the talking point of the B-town. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is being readied for release as late as end of August but the promotion of the film has seen a great kick start with a highly exciting publicity still being out. The poster of the film features the lead protagonist Akshay Kumar as the only man on the frame. So what's so special in that? Well, he sports black shades and rugged-terrain-shoes; all of this while wearing an all-over saffron robe bearing the print of OM NAMAH SHIVAY. A small painting of a dancer-girl in the background adds on to the mystery while she is wearing a traditional Indian outfit. Making the audience ask for more with a mysterious poster like this, this T-Series film is a remake of Rajnikanth starrer all time blockbuster CHANDRAMUKHI which released a few seasons back and created history all over. A story which is a mix of myth, reincarnation, magic, suspense and thrills, all set in contemporary times; BHOOL BHULLAIYA stars Shiney Ahuja as the second leading man along with Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. The film has screenplay and dialogues by Neeraj Vora who directed Akshay Kumar's PHIR HERA PHERI. Pritam is at the helm of compositions while Sameer writes.
'4 Couples' completes shooting
The shooting of '4 Couples' directed by Vamsy Raju and produced by Thanduru Janardhana Reddy on the banner of Indira Art Creations with Suryavamsi and Madhumita in the lead was completed recently. Producer says, 'It is a love suspense thriller movie. Presently editing work is in progress.' Director says, 'We are planning to launch the audio by June-end and release the film in July. We are confident that our movie would attract all classes of audiences.' Ramireddy, Abhinayasri, Kallu Chidambaram, Jenny, KK Sarma, Richa, Soni, Shilpa Reddy, Ameena and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sudhakar Naidu, editing is by Sreenu, while music is by Arjun.
