While Amal's movie is titled Kullante Bharya, Aashiq Abu (Gowri), Anwar Rasheed (Aami), Sameer Thahir (Esha) and debutant Shyju Khalid (Sethulakshmi) are also helming the hostess. Interestingly June 14, seems to be busiest weekend ever for Malayalam film release. As of now 8 films are trying to get into theaters the same weekend. The names include Thankyou, Thomson Villa, Paisa Paisa, Mr Bean, Raktha Rakshassu, Samrajyam 2, ABCD and 8.20.But with so many films ready for an outing ,it needs to be seen how many of them will manage to get needed theaters in the state for a proper release.

According to reports, the film almost made it to the 10-Crore mark and was declared a success. Immanuel (2013) Immanuel, which released in the year 2013, was one of the genuine hits given by Mammootty, after a break. The film, directed by Lal Jose did have a decent run at the box office and made a gross collection of approximately 8 crores, from Kerala alone. More importantly, in the past 5 years, Mammootty has maintained the right balance by giving equal importance to commercial films as well as films with quality content. The actor's Munnariyippu is considered to be one of the best films of this decade, so far.Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Thoppil Joppan. Last year when 'Yahaan', '7 1/2 Phere' and 'Sehar' released, there was a record of sorts with three directors [Shoojit Sircar, Ishaan Trivedi and Kabeer Kaushik] making their debut. Well, the record seems destined to be broken on July 21st with as many as 5 directors waiting for their debut flicks to hit the marquee. The movies slated for release on this day are 'Ahista Ahista', 'Aryan - Unbreakable', 'The Killer' and 'Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota' and the directors of these films are Shivam Nair, Abhishek Kapoor, Raksha Mistry & Hasnain S Hyderabadwala [co-directors] and Naseeruddin Shah respectively. A crowded Friday ahead, one just hopes that all of them find a space in the audience's heart, especially since each carries a good report and looks like a fine product!

It is known that Anushka is playing the title role in the film Rudramadevi, which is the first historical Indian movie in 3D format. The latest news is director Gunasekhar has spent whopping 5 Crores on Anushka’s Jewellery in the film and unit opines that the designs worn by Anushka made of real gold and diamonds will become quite popular like that of Aishwarya Rai’s Jodha Akbar. Costume designer Neeta Lulla has designed Anushka’s look in Rudramadevi. Gunasekhar is leaving no stone unturned in making Rudramadevi grandeur. The film has completed few portions already and next schedule will commence in Annapurna Seven Acres studio from 3rd July. Rana, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Zara Shah, Nathalia Kaur will be seen in prominent roles in this Gunasekhar production film which has musical scores by Ilayaraja.

5 dead after helicopter crash near apartment in South Korea
SEOUL, South Korea – A firefighting helicopter crashed Thursday near an apartment complex and school in the southern South Korean city of Gwangju, killing five people, officials said. The helicopter was returning to headquarters in the eastern provincial firefighting agency after participating in search operations for 11 people still missing after a ferry sinking that killed more than 290 in April, fire officials in Gwangju said speaking on condition of anonymity because of office rules. The crash killed all five fire officers aboard the helicopter, while a female high school student on the ground received a minor injury, the officials said. An official at the firefighting agency in the eastern Gwangwon province said the five dead officers took the helicopter Monday when they left for search operations for the missing people from the ferry disaster. He also spoke on condition of anonymity line with department rules. TV images showed the burning helicopter and a plume of black smoke rising up above buildings. The ferry sinking caused widespread worry about South Korea's lax safety culture. Most of the dead were high school students.
