Alis happy moments

Ali is a comedian, who has spontaneity and a natural warmth about him. His type of comedy rests a lot on timing and delivery. Ali, a good looking man, is not new to playing hero in Telugu movies. He has worked as a hero in Hungama with Venu Madhav. Ali is again playing the hero in Gunadammgari Manavadu. Directed by B Jaya, the film is a fun caper with gritty moments of action and emotion specked all through. Ali is happy to be playing the lead part. He says the film is almost complete and the scenes have come out really nice. Director B Jaya's latest film with hero Ali, Gunadammgari Manavadu, is near finishing its shoot. By Interestingly, it is veteran Vadivukkuarasi who plays the title role. Sindhuri and Nicole, both newcomers, play the heroines. Produced by R R Movie Makers, the film is now in the post-production work stage. Presented by K Achichi Reddy, the movie will release in April after the exam season is over.

Alis laugh riot 'Somberi'

Ali is the one comedian who can boast of a super duper hit film as a hero. His Yamaleela was a huge box-office success. So, once again, an attempt is being made to cash in on the popularity and comic timing of Ali. Titled Somberi, his latest film is being directed by writer Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao. The film's unit has just returned from a 10 day shooting schedule in Krishna district. Shot in various locations at Kuchipudi, Puligadda, Srikakulam, Muvva, Avanigadda, a major chunk of the film is now complete. The producer of the film, Yarramalli Venkata Rao also disclosed that a song has been picturised on Ali and the two girls ' Rachana and Lakshya. Ruksha is playing the lead opposite Ali. The film is likely to be released in the last week of March or April. The film has various artistes such as Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, AVS, MS Narayana and others in the cast.

Alia Bhatt wish to act with NTR

Actress Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have been promoting their upcoming Bollywood movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and the duo was in Hyderabad for the promotional activities recently. When a reporter has asked her if she would want to pair up with any Tollywood hero, Alia was quick to reply NTR’s name. Alia says if she does a Telugu movie, she would wish to pair up with NTR. Richard alias Rishi plays tough cop

Its now the turn of 'Kadhal Virus' Richard, who has rechristened himself as Rishi, to play a cop in a movie titled 'Thamizhagam'. As already published Vishal too is playing a cop in the film 'Sathyam'. 'Thamizhagam' is directed by debutant Suresh Kumar, and has musical score by Asif Ali, son of the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Muhammad Abdul Ali. Stunt director Rocky Rajesh, who has choreographed the action sequences for many Vijayakanth and Vijay films, makes his debut as an actor with this film. 'Thamizhagam' is expected to be a cocktail of emotions laced with humor and sentiments. 'We shot a stunt sequence in the busy roads of Poonamallee. It would be the major highlight of the movie', says Suresh Kumar. The cast includes Archana, Karunaas, Devan, Malaysia Vasudevan, Kalairani and Ajay.

Alia Bhatt warns against fake 'Highway' pictures

Alia Bhatt has warned her fans against "random" pictures of her forthcoming film "Highway", which are doing the rounds on internet. Alia, who made her debut with Karan Johar's 2012 movie "Student Of The Year", will star opposite Randeep Hooda in the Imtiaz Ali film. "There's some random image doing around from 'Highway' that isn't authentic at all! That is not me or Randeep in that picture," Alia posted on Twitter. "Stills from the film will be out closer to the release probably. So please don't fall for these fake images," she added.

Alia gets support from peers for 'Highway'

Actress Alia Bhatt, whose second film “Highway” hit theatres Friday, has been showered with luck and encouraging words like “you are going to be the biggest star” by her contemporaries like Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor. Parineeti, whose recent movie “Hasee Toh Phasee” too was widely appreciated, took to Twitter to express her support to Alia’s “Highway”. “Go go go Alia! ‘Highway’ is going to be huge and you are going to be the best actress and biggest star ever! Guys don't miss it,” she tweeted Friday. “Aashiqui 2” star Shraddha Kapoor also tweeted that she “can't wait to watch ‘Highway’ ", and added: "All the best Alia!” Alia’s “Student Of The Year” co-star Sidharth Malhotra wished her luck too. “Must watch my Radha on the ‘Highway’ tomorrow (Friday), best of luck Alia. Hearing great things, very excited, love and kiss,” he tweeted Thursday. Post "Highway", Alia will be seen in “2 States”, which will release April 18.
