Darshan's latest film Ambareesha, directed by Mahesh Sukhadhare was launched on Thursday morning at the Sri Kanteerava Studio in a glittering function which had a huge attendance. The film is based on the land mafia in Bangalore. Chintan, who had co-scripted Saarathi, has written the story for the film after extensively studying the land mafia in Bangalore. Darshan will play the saviour of common people who get cheated. Interestingly, Rebel Star Ambareesh is currently the minister for housing in Karnataka government. Many industry bigwigs and veterans were present at the launch of the film including director Bhargava, actress Sumalatha Ambreesh, Ambica, TS Nagabharana, Shivamani, MS Ramesh, Soundarya Jagadish, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Harikrishna, Harshika Poonacha among many others.
Ambareesha Censored - Releasing on 20th
The much awaited Darshan film Ambareesha has bagged the UA certificate from the Regional Censor Board. The film directed by Mahesh Sukhadare will release on November 20. The film was earlier scheduled for a November 14 release. But problems with theatres held it back. There are no standard theatres on Kempe Gowda Road available this week. Bahaddur and Power have occupied Nartaki and Santhosh. Belli continues in Kapali while Abhimanyu is going strong in Anupama. The re-released Kasturi Nivas is all set to go on for 100 days. With Sagar and Triveni closed, the only option left was Menaka. But Ee Dil Helide Ne Bekanta has picked up. Ambareesh to act with Sudeep
Sudeep starrer S.Narayan’s new movie has an impressive latest addition to its star cast. It’s veteran actor Ambarish. Reportedly Ambareesh seems to have liked the story immensely and agreed to take part in this movie immediately. Moreover, S.Narayan has denied the reports that it’s a remake of Tamil film Sami and has claimed that it’s a swamake film. Another big surprise of the movie apart from swamake claim is that S.Narayan has reportedly got away with his parampara of titling his movies beginning with "ch" and it’s going to be titled as "Veera Parampare". Of course, inspirationally from Sudeep’s earlier hit, Veera Madakari. True, old habits die hard! We at bellitere believe that by dropping the title superstition and not casting his own son in his own production movie, S.Narayan seems to be coming back to the good old basics of film making and it’s a good sign of things to come. As for as S.Narayan is concerned, it’s a beginning of a Veera Parampare too!
Ambareesh Undergoes Cataract Surgery
Rebel Star Ambareesh has undergone surgery for eye cataract last week. The issue first came to light in the Legislative Council. The session was extended by two days but Ambi did not attend. He had already fixed an appointment with a famous eye doctor. The Council Speaker said that Ambi was undergoing surgery when a question by a member related to his ministry came up. Another minister answered on Ambi's behalf. It was a simple surgery but Ambareesh cannot expose his eyes to direct light for some days. On Wednesday, he was back to work and was meeting people at his residence. Wishing Ambreesh a speedy recovery.
Ambareesh To Be Air-Lifted to Singapore
Rebel Star Ambareesh will be air-lifted to Singapore on a special air-ambulance at 4.30 am on Saturday. The actor has been hospitalised for the last on week in Bangalore's Vikram Hospital due to a lung infection. He was kept in an ICU all along. To improve his health condition, it has been decided to take him to Singapore. Ambareesh's wife Sumalatha, son Abhishek and two doctors from Bangalore will accompany him to Singapore. It may be recalled that Rajinikanth also got treated in Singapore last year for his illness. Dr Satish and Dr Raghunandan are the two doctors going with Ambareesh. Two more paramedics are also said to be on call during the flight.
Ambareesh Hospitalised Again
Actor and Karnataka housing minister Ambareesh has been hospitalised in a Bangalore hospital. He has been admitted to the Vikram Hospital in the city last evening. Sources said Ambareesh was supposed to go to hospital two days back itself for a rotuine check up but he has gone there yesterday. There is nothing to worry regarding his health condition. Probably he will be discharged today evening said sources.
