Jabardasth fame anchor tuned actress Rashmi Gautham starrer upcoming most awaited hot and bold drama “Antham” is gearing up for grand releases very soon. Rashmi was last seen in the movie ‘Guntur Talkies’ and she scorched the screen by her hot avatar but the movie turned out flop at the box office and now once again she is going to delight the audiences by her erotic avatar. She is sharing the screen space with actor Charandeep. The major highlights of the movie is the Rashmi’s performance. Vasudev and Sudharshan are playing the important role. Recently, the makers have released the trailer of the movie which grabbed several eyeballs. It is touted to be a suspense thriller drama. According to the latest update, the movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 7th July. It is directed by GSSP Kalyan and he also provided screenplay and the story, and produced under the banner of Charan Creations whereas the music is scored by Karthik Rodriguez. Already the movie has completed the censor formalities and received ‘A’ certificate. The entire team is very confident that the movie will become successful to delight the audiences.
Rashmi Disappoints With Antham!
Jabardast anchor Rashmi Gautham’s new movie ‘Antham’ was released yesterday. The film’s teaser oozed enough oomph from Rashmi but failed to catch up with promotions later on. Starring Charan Deep as hero and directed by Kalyan, reports say this film completely failed to thrill our audience. Despite the attention pulling Rashmi played central female lead, her screen time is said to be less than 20 to 25 minutes which disappointed her admirers. Rashmi’s career can be divided into two time periods… before ‘Guntur Talkies’ and after ‘Guntur Talkies.’ Apparently, the seductive role in ‘Guntur Talkies’ hasn’t come to rescue ‘Antham.’ Weak screenplay and obscure direction from Kalyan stood unsuccessful in exploiting the advantage Rashmi. Except a song, ‘Antham’ nowhere met the expectations. For all those who wondered on why Rashmi missed this film’s promotions, the answer is right here. All in all, ‘Antham’ isn’t a right choice from this hot babe and she should be careful further in accepting the projects.
'Rashmi's Antham's first day's gross sets a record'
Rashmi Gautham may have given the promotions a miss, she may have accused the director of misleadingly using a sensuous song in the trailer, the makers may not have failed to convey the film's subject, the audience may have gone to the theatres expecting something which they never got, but 'Antham' has admittedly set a record on day one. Producer GSSP Kalyan says, "Our film released in about 300 theatres across AP, Telangana and Karnataka on the Ramzan day. At a time when independent films don't even have the fortune to get released, 'Antham' has collected a gross of Rs. 1.26 cr on day one. We sold the film at a reasonable price to the distributors, who are now very happy. They are going to have a break-even by the end of second day." Even though the lead pair, Charan Deep and Rashmi, have not promoted the film, the producer mentioned Rashmi's name in the statement issued. "As this is the first film to after 'Guntur Talkies' in which Rashmi Gautham has acted, it has acquired this craze," he said.
Supreme Court makes national anthem compulsory
National Anthem is a matter of huge pride for every Indian. The supreme court today, passed a judgment that the national anthem should be played in every movie theater in the country.Before the start of every screening, the national anthem will be played and all those who fail to do so might face consequences. Although many theaters are already playing the anthem, it is good that all the other theaters will follow this tradition.

In haste, they take any action it will only backfire as it did… in the JNU students’ sedition case and it was proven that the tape was doctored. A simple evening to spend time with family and friends to watch a movie has been made into a Testing Ground to prove one’s patriotism. Why not political parties start their meetings with National Anthem, why only cinemas? Why not the highest offices in the country? Those who preach and enforce laws – why don’t they lead us by example? So, they are ‘SIGN POSTS??’ And when I see all this it reminds me of American Economist Thomas Sowell’s words: Are we turning the law into a trap for honest people and bonanza for charlatans?
Pawan Kalyan’s take on national anthem in theaters
A short while ago, Pawan Kalyan took to twitter and posted a series of tweets. All his tweets were inclined towards how political parties should go about things. In one of his tweets, he also questions as to why the national anthem should only be played in the cinema halls and not during the start of any political meetings or rallies.Pawan used strong words like “why can’t political parties begin their meetings with national anthem and lead by example”. There has been a huge debate for a long time about people standing up for the national anthem when it is played before any screenings.These words of his now clearly show that Pawan has some strong opinions about several aspects of the society and he is ready to question them as a true citizen of India.
