'Avatharudu' in theatres from April 4th!

This is a time for remakes. Not only are films in the neighbouring states and languages remade but this has become a success formula throughout the country. Well, 'Avatharudu' is a remake of the Tamil film 'Alwaar' that had Ajith and Asin playing the lead pair. In telugu the film has been remade under the 'Shalini Cine Creations' banner. 'Avatharudu' has been directed by Super Subbharayan and produced by Y.V.Shetty. The producer has confirmed that the film will hit theatres this April 4th. While speaking on this film the producer also stated that the hero will surprise the audience with a variety of appearences, and this will be the most important feature of the film. 'Avatharudu' features five songs - one of which has been shot in the snow-peaked mounts of Himalayas, two more songs have been shot in Malayasia and Singapore. The director of this film being a stunt choreographer, the audience can definitely expect dare-devil stunt sequences in the film. The music of Srikanth Deva has proved a hit in the Tamil version, and lets hope history is repeated in Telugu as well.

Kamals new Avatharam

Nowadays Kamal Haasan is seen with a beard. Many would have though that this could be one of his ten different get ups for his Dasavatharam. It is actually his next Avatharm after 'Dasvatharam'. Kamal is planning to make 'Marma Yogi' after Dasavatharam, which will be released by Tamil New Year's day. Kamal is directing and producing the film on first copy basis for the corporate Reliance Adlabs. The latest buzz in Kollywood is that he has roped in Hema Malini, the erstwhile 'dream Girl' of Bollywood to play a prominent character in 'Marma Yogi'. Hema Malini is believed to have accepted Kamal's request to act in 'Marma Yogi' after reading the complete script. The Bollywood beauty is basically a Tamilian. She actually wanted to act in Tamil films but somehow her efforts did not click. Then she went to Mumbai and became a very big star. Though she has stopped acting, she has accepted Kamla's offer since she likes the script and her role. Marma Yogi is the title of MGR's hit film which was the first 'A' certified film in Tamil industry.

Ganesh in seven avatharas!

Golden star Ganesh's latest film 'Aramane' produced by K.Manju and directed by comedy actor Nagshekhar has many feast and surprises lined up. The first major is that in this film Golden star Ganesh is appearing in seven get ups. He is in a lover boy, photographer, Joker, Raj Kapoor, Charlie Chaplin and Appu Raja costumes. He has taken two days to shoot in the Appu Raja get up for which he practiced two months. Controlling the pain Ganesh severely before the last shot cried of pain. The doctors have attended on him on the last day disclosed director Nagshekhar speaking to media persons. The audio of the film 'Aramane' the 18th production of K.Manju has the story of 'Kasthuri Nivasa' and climax of 'Bangaradha Manushya' says the director who is brimming with happiness on the completion of the film. The film is releasing on 4th April 2008 all over Karnataka. The special set erected for this film at a cost of Rs.35 lakhs has been one of the driving forces for the film.
