Up until recently, speculations were rife that two of the most anticipated films of next year, Baahubali: The Conclusion and Robot 2.0, would be clashing at the box-office. While it would have perhaps been the monster of all clashes in Indian cinematic history, the trade was none too enthusiastic about the prospect. However, putting all such rumors to rest, Rana Daggubati, one of the principle actors of the Baahubali franchise has confirmed that the films wouldn’t be clashing at the box-office. Rana has said that Baahubali 2 is still being shot, after which plenty of post-production work remains. Given the scale and premise of the film, it will obviously demand a lot of time for the visual effects and editing. In fact, the film was supposed to release this year, but got delayed due to the same reason that Daggubati is citing. The actor confirms that Baahubali: The Conclusion will now be releasing on 14th April 2017. Robot 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson while Baahubali: The Conclusion retains more or less the same cast from the original.
Even Baahubali can't withstand the Heat
S.S.Rajamouli and his team who were shooting for "Baahubali: The conclusion" were now forced to call off the shooting, due to the scorching summer heat.The heatwave has affected peoples throughout the country and the director has decided to give up the shooting, as the team cant withstand this. It was reported that the shooting may commence after a month time.Baahubali sequel is scheduled to hit the screens on 14th April 2017, and the director plans to complete the movie on rapid pace, has got disrupted by natural factors.Starring Prabhas, Rana, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Nassar, Ramya Krishnan and many more in pivotal roles, Baahubali is one of the highest grosser film in the Indian boxoffice and the fans are now eagerly awaiting for the second part.
Nassar Reveals the True Hero of 'Baahubali'
Seasoned character actor Nassar in an exclusive interview with IG Tamil has stated that Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami is the true hero of ‘Baahubali’ as the entire first and second parts revolve around the decisions and actions she takes and how she tackles them. The actor went to the extent of saying that he regretted not being a woman as he would have done anything to do the role. However Nasser said that he would not like to compare the character Sivagami with Neelambari that Ramya played in Rajinikanth’s ‘Padaiyappa’ as each is a different character and the veteran actress has done both the roles differently. We’ll have to wait for ‘Baahubali The Conclusion’ to release to see more of Ramya Krishnan’s character. 'Baahubali 2' set to start rolling
S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus "Baahubali 2", the second part of the franchise, will finally go on the floors here on Thursday, a source said. "After nearly four months of pre-production work including set design and concept art, 'Baahubali 2' will finally go on floors today," a source from the film's unit told. According to the source, the principal cast will take part in the shooting on Thursday. Slated to hit the screens toward the end of 2016, "Baahubali 2" will reveal why Kattappa killed Baahubali. Starring Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film is being produced Arka Media Works. The first part of the franchise released earlier this year in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam and raked in over Rs.600 crore the box office worldwide. Rajamouli had revealed that the second part would be "more emotional and with more grandeur", while speaking at Busan Asian Film Market.
Baahubali 2 Begins Today
After the widespread success of the first part of Baahubali, director Rajamouli has now started to shoot for the second part "Baahubali: The conclusion".Prabhas and Ramya Krishnan will be participating in the first day shoot in Ramoji film city in Hyderabad.
