'I actually baby sat Hrithik for three months,' says Rekha. A good friend of Pinky (Rakesh Roshan's wife), Rekha changed his diapers and bottle fed the superstar. As for being hard working, every actor has to work by virtue of being in such a competitive profession. But Hrithik works hard not to better anyone, but himself. He was born to work hard. Superhit 'baby' for Akshay Kumar
Sajid Nadiadwala's HEYY BABYY, directed by debutant Sajid Khan and starring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan took a block buster opening worldwide with a record shattering opening weekend collection of Rs. 41 crore. HEYY BABYY also took the biggest opening in the US this year and boasted of the biggest screen average (6039 pounds) in the UK. It debuted at number 10 at the UK box office. Touted to be Akshay Kumar's biggest opening ever, the film also creates a platform for Akshay to become the next 'Overseas King' with consecutive hits. After having crossed the success of all of Akshay's previous releases including 'Namaste London', 'Heyy Babyy' is now the superstar's biggest hit to date! The film is a super success in the 3 major international markets in the US and UK with even Australia has reaching the coveted $ 100,000 mark in the opening weekend. "Audience reactions world-wide to HEYY BABYY have been extremely encouraging. With Sajid Khan's direction and talent like Akshay, Fardeen, Ritesh and Vidya, HEYY BABYY was bound to be a stupendous hit," says Mr. Sunil Lulla, President Eros International. HEYY BABYY and a week long party
Akshay swears that the schedule of "Heyy Babyy' in Sydney was one of the best outdoor he has ever shot for. Akshay Kumar is hardly known to be party animal. He prefers to sleep early and rise early for his martial art exercise and then heads on to shoot. But producer Sajid Nadiadwala who loves the good life ganged up with Fardeen and took Akshay partying in one of the best night clubs in Sydney. The boy's day out turned out to be one of the highlights of the schedule as they had a blast at the night club. Even Akshay partied till wee hours in the morning. According to insiders, the male bonding was so strong that they carried on partying for a week continuously. So if you ever see Akshay enjoying the nightlife across the globe, you will surely blame Sajid Nadiadwala for turning Akshay into a 'party animal'.
HEYY BABYY poised to mark hat trick of hits for Akshay Kumar
His sole release of the year so far, NAMASTE LONDON, did wonders at the box office in spite of releasing in the middle of World Cup cricket. And now Akshay Kumar would be seeing his second release of the year as HEYY BABYY arrives at the theaters after a fortnight. This could well turn out to be yet another instance of a hat trick for Akshay. In 2005, his BEWAFA, WAQT - RACE AGAINST TIME and GARAM MASALA came to theaters at regular intervals and each of them worked at the box office. For an actor who has been delivering successful films consistently and is currently one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar would be on the lookout for a hat trick since his BHAGAM BHAG, which released in December last year, was also a runaway success.

Sajid Nadiadwala's Heyy Babyy, Starring Akshay Kumar, Reteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan and Vidya Balan directed by debutante Sajid Khan has taken an unprecedented opening of the Box Office. The critics and the trade are unanimous that with the kind of opening Heyy Babyy has taken, it is a surefire Blockbuster!!! Manoj Desai, proprietor of Gaiety Galaxy says "The opening is bumper. It is 100% till Tuesday. Considering that the capacity of Gaiety is 1000 seats, is an indication that the film is well received by both the balcony as well as the stall audience. Sajid Khan has excelled in his directorial debut, and has got the pulse of the audience. He has balanced the comedy and emotional elements quite well. Sajid Nadiadwala has marketed the film very well, Heyy Babyy will be blockbuster" Says Trade analyst Amod Mehra, "The opening is huge and if it continue, Heyy Babyy will become the biggest hit. It is a very well made film." Geerish Wankede, Head PR & Corporate Communication, Cinemax says, "The collections are very encouraging. Everyone seems to be very happy after watching the film. Well executed comedies work big time, additionally the film was well marketed and had a great buzz. The collection will be huge since Tuesday is Raksha Bandhan.
Sophia returns as BABY DOLL
After a brief and hardly noticeable act in 'Shaadi No.1', VJ/singer Sophia is back in the limelight for big screen with 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects'. While Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose are certainly making heads turn with their naughty'n'funny antics, Sophia intends to ignite some heat with her BABY DOLL act. She does this for a rocking item track by Pritam, 'Bad Boy/Allah Bachaye' that has just been premiered on the small screen. A sensual'n'inviting number picturised on Sophia where she promises to be a BABY DOLL if only the man in her life becomes a BAD BOY, it has all in it to set the temperatures soaring. Though Sophia is a singer herself, it is Alisha Chinoy who croons the track. No wonder this PNC film looks a lot more exciting and happening than their last outing 'Ankahee' that turned out to be a damp squib at the box office inspite of being a decent product.
