Producer- director Sakthi Chidambaram is churning out Pazhani starring Bharath. Perarasu, who has also penned the lyrics, is directing the movie. Also Sakthi Chidambaram is wielding the megaphone for a movie that would star Sundar C in the lead role. The Sakthi ' Sundar C movie has been tentatively titled Bale Pandya. It may be recalled that it is the title of a yesteryear classic starring thespian Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role. Sakthi has planned a hilarious entertainer in Bale Pandya. Sundar C is currently busy with Veerappu and Perumal. Once he completes those movies, he would be available for Bale Pandya. Sakthi Chidambaram's last directorial venture Vyapari featured S J Suryah in the lead role.
‘Bale Pandiya’ audio release on Apr 18!
After the mega audio release of Arya’s ‘Madarasapattinam’, AGS Entertainers are all set to launch the audio of their other production venture ‘Bale Pandiya’ on April 18 at Satyam Cinemas in Chennai. Siddarth Chandrasekar, who was famous as a publicity designer for many block buster films like ‘Sivaji’, ‘Dhasavatharam’, ‘Endhiran’, has turned filmmaker with this movie. Devan Ekambaram has scored the music for the film. Many celebrities of kollywood are expected to attend the audio launch event. Director Siddharth says “Like I came out with innovative ideas for publicity designing, I have tried to make every frame speak with expressions. I have used cinematographer Soundararajan’s entire talent. Audience can’t guess where the camera is. This is a story about a guy from a middle class family who come to Chennai looking out for job.”
Bale Pandiya’ to release on Sep 3rd!
Director Siddharth’s debutant upcoming full length entertainer ‘Bale Pandiya’ that has Vishnu and Piya in the lead is all set for the release on September 3rd. Recently the film has completed all its censor formalities and earned clean ‘U’ certificate from the censor board. The movie is produced by Kalapthi Agoram of AGS Entertainment. Devan Ekambaram has composed the music and it was released recently in to the markets and has been receiving good response in particular the ‘Happy’ song. While speaking to the media, director Siddharth said “You can say that Bale Pandiya is a wholesome entertainer. There is so much romance, friendship, action and emotions in this film. The hero and the villains took great risks while acting in the stunt scenes.
'Robot' goes 'crystal ball' gazing
Though predictions come true or not, Tamil Cinema is well known for going by what astrologers predict. An interesting tidbit about the much hyped and highly anticipated film 'Robot' starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai seems to be in consultation with a famous astrologer. Sources have indicated that a top personality involved with the project had taken director Shankar's horoscope to the astrologer in a bid to find out about the film's prospects. The astrologer in turn had wanted to meet Shankar in person before going ahead with the predictions. Shankar had an audience with the astrologer and certain 'revelations' were made. According to the astrologer, Shankar's 'time' is good at the moment and will continue to be so for a few years. However, with regards to 'Robot', the movie must be made immediately in order to have a dream run worldwide. A delay in its release might even doom the movie to failure. This information has reportedly rattled the director. One will have to wait and see if the director takes the astrologer's prediction seriously and start filming at once. It is not know if the astrologer is a fan of the Rajini ' Shankar combination and is in haste to see the movie released quickly.
Ball time today
Sharjah may not be any longer popular off-shore cricket venue for Indian cricketers. But it would be just perfect for both Telugu and Tamil stars as they set to renew their cricket rivalry in Sharjah today. Playing for a good cause (funds for the industry hands), the two teams will be competing for the MGR-NTR Trophy. The two teams were originally scheduled to play in Sharjah in January itself. But it did not happen and the teams played in Chennai (for the record, the Tamil team won). But now they have managed to get the match on tomorrow at Sharjah. The Telugu stars team, led by Tarun, is thirsting for revenge. Last time around, Taraka Rathna played well. For the Tamil team, Ramana scored a ton. So both the teams are raring to go. The contest's other attraction will be the presence of starlets like Shreya, Anajala Javeri, Khushboo and Vindya. The teams: Tollywood: Tarun (C), Srikanth, Vishnu Vardhan, Taraka Rathna, Dasari Arun, GV, Aryan Rajesh, Raghu, Rajeev Kanakala, Prabhu, Khayyam, Naveen Reddy and Ravi Shankar. Kollywood team: Abbas (C), Shaam, Vishal, Simbu, Vikranth, Ramesh, Jeeva, Ramana, Arya, Sriram, Arun Kumar. Jaya and MAA TV will telecast the match live.
Bale Dongalu have a glitzy audio release do
Tarun and Ileana had lots of competition as the top actors from the industry came in to wish them luck today. The venue was the set of the item song that Charmme is doing for the film. Producer Bellamkonda Suresh thought it was the ideal location to launch the audio of his film, apart from being different. Charmme didn't look an item girl one bit as she was clad in casual jeans, jacket and a T-shirt. So, in came Venkatesh, Ravi Teja to provide the glamour element. There was Tarun and Ileana and Jagapati Babu, who plays a special role in the film. Ironically, he looked more colourful than both his leading ladies put together.
