'Bangalore Days' to hit screens on May 9

After her well applauded initial films like 'Manjadikkuru' and 'Ustad Hotel', director-scriptwriter Anjali Menon' will have her multi starrer titled Bangalore Days hit the screens on May 9. Featuring an ensemble cast from Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Nithya Menen, Isha Talwar and Parvathy , it needs to be seen how the director will give prominence to each of the lead actor who has proved well through their films.'Bangalore days ''has been produced by director Anwar Rasheed.

Bangalore days 'Sold out'

After making a bang in the Mollywood Box Office, the remake rights of the recent movie 'Bangalore Days' has been sold for an astronomical sum. Famous producers Prasad V. Potluri of PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the remake rights of the movie in all Indian languages. The team is planning to go for a remake very soon in the coming months. It all came as a surprise as two big names of South Indian cinema came together to grab the remake rights of a Malayalam movie.As per the current reports, the movie which has already become a sensation in Malayalam and in other industries, with record collections from all over also was noted for the parade of young stars. The movie which deals with themes of friendship and commitment will have Bhaskar of Bommarilu' fame helming the Tamil and Telugu remake. It is also reported that Samantha, Bharath and Arya will come up in roles that Nazriya, Nivin and Dulqar have done in the original.

Bangalore Days remake hits floors

The much awaited Bangalore Days Tamil remake has finally kick started shooting from Tuesday [April 7] in Chennai. Rana Daggubati is playing a key role in this remake venture being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Confirming the reports, Rana Tweeted, “Now taking a plane to chennai and literally moving to my next film in Tamil the remake of 'Bangalore Days'.” Arya, Sri Divya, Bobby Simhaa, Raai Lakshmi and Parvathy will be seen in other lead roles in this PVP Cinemas production film.

Samantha and Siddharth in Bangalore Days remake

South Indian actors Siddharth and Samantha, the alleged off screen lovers are reportedly pairing up for an upcoming remake venture. If sources are to be believed, the Jabardasth stars Sam and Sid have given their verbal nod to play the lead roles in the Telugu-Tamil remake of superhit Malayalam movie Bangalore Days. Bommarillu director Bhaskar will wield the megaphone for this yet-untitled movie. The ace director is said to have met Samantha and Siddharth recently and took their nod. Arya will be seen in a key role in the film. Filmmaker is busy finalizing the script and other cast and crew will be announced soon. The movie is expected to hit the floors in January, 2015.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in Bangalore Days remake?

Here is the latest buzz making rounds in the tinsel town that the Tollywood hit pair Naga Chaitanya and Samantha will once again pair up for a movie. As per the latest buzz, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha may pair up for the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the producers. Prasad V. Potluri of PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the all Indian languages remake rights of recent Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days.The film is expected to be remade in Telugu and Tamil right away. "Taking the tinsel world by surprise, PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the remake rights of 'Bangalore Days' for all Indian languages," read a statement from PVP Cinema. "Bangalore Days" has created a huge sensation not just in the Kerala film industry but also across the nation. Dwelling on emotions like friendship, relationship and commitment, the film has managed to tug at the heart strings of viewers across the nation. "Bommarillu Bhaskar will be helming the Telugu and Tamil versions of the remake," added the statement. Discussions are going on at a very advanced stage with three leading heroes and heroines to replicate the roles in both the Tamil and Telugu versions.

Rana wraps first schedule of Bangalore Days remake

Its a wrap for Rana Daggubati for the first schedule of the Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster 'Bangalore Days'. The actor has took the news to his micro-blogging page and posted: “Done with the first week of shoot for the Bangalore Days remake. Heading home for a few days before I'm back on set!Great team to work with!” Further he revealed that he has turned vegetarian from almost a week now. Seems like he is working hard to come back to normal loosing the oodles of weight he gained for the role in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali. Hope to see Rana in a new look in 'Bangalore Days' remake that also has Raai Lakshmi, Arya, Sri Divya, Simhaa, Parvathy in important roles. Being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, PVP Cinemas is producing it.
