Sunil Sharma is playing the title role in 'Buddha' directed by Allani Sridhar and produced by K Rajasekhar on the banner of Dharmapatha Creations. Gauthama Buddha was born to remain a torch-bearer in preaching the non-violence. At a time, when violence is ruling the roost in the country, there is a strong need for reminding the people about the non-violent path shown by Buddha through his life history. K Sivananda Murthy, father of the producer, had conducted a detailed research on the life, history and preachings of Gauthama Buddha and prepared an excellent script and screenplay. The film is being simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English languages. The producer says, 'At least a fraction of Buddha's teachings should reach the society to prevent violence and that was the reason why we have come forward to bring out a film on the life and teachings of Buddha. Sasi Preetham provided melodious tunes with a perfect classical touch to suit those days for the movie.' Suman, Puneet Issar, Surendra Paul, Parvathi Melgon, Kausha, Subbaraju, Ashokkumar and others are in the cast. The film is most likely to be released in October.
Nikhil's buddy & Asst Director dies
Aspiring filmmaker Ujwal who worked as assistant director for Nikhil's Surya Vs Surya movie Assistant Director has lost his life in tragic rode accident. Ujwal died in a fatal road accident that happened yesterday and learning about the death of his friend Nikhil went into shock. Nihkil tweeted," Really really sad to know that Ujwal who worked as an Assistant Director for my film Surya Vs Surya is no more… A Tragic road accident. He was Young nd full of life.. A promising talent, gud human whom we are going to miss always…Rest in peace brother." Ujwal worked as assistant to Surya vs Surya and has become good friends with Nikhil since then. Nikhil advised the people to wear helmet while driving two wheeler and use seat belt while driving a car to save live.
Will Pawan's Close Buddy shift his Office?
Due to few bad experiences he had with Producers regarding the remuneration, Pawan Kalyan decided to produce his future projects on his home banner and he even made his close buddy Sharrath Marar a partner as well. However, None of the two films jointly produced by PK and Sharrath Marar have become good hits. While 'Gopala Gopala' was an average grosser, 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' ended as a disaster. Now, the duo is working together for one more project to be directed by Dolly and they were under immense pressure to deliver a huge success. If the buzz is to be believed, Sharrath Marar has met few Astrologers recently to figure out why the films produced by him weren't successful. The Astrologers found fault with the vaastu of his Office. So, Mr.Sharrath might either renovate or shift the office to an another location.
Song canned on Parvathi Melton for 'Buddha'
The second schedule of 'Buddha' directed by Allani Sridhar and produced by industrialist K Rajasekhar on the banner of Dharmapatha Creations is progressing in Hyderabad. Recently a song was choreographed on Parvathi Melton who was playing the role of Amrapali. Sunil Sharma, who is doing the role of Buddha, and Suman, who is playing the character of Bimbisara, were also involved in the canning of the song. Speaking on the occasion, producer Rajasekhar says, 'We are making the film simultaneously in Hindi, English and Telugu languages, with a view to infuse the non-violence, sacrifice and philosophy in the lives of the people as the present society is full of violence without any peaceful atmosphere. The current schedule would continue till the end of April.' Director Allani Sridhar says, 'We have not taken up the routine and known story of Gautama Buddha, but chose a subject, scripted by Dr K Sivanandamurthy, who made an extensive research on the life of Buddha. Shashi Preetam is scoring music for the movie, while Dr D K Goel scripted dialogues for the original Hindi version.'
Pawan's Special Appearance for Close Buddy
Everyone knew, Pawan Kalyan & Trivikram Srinivas are best buddies in the Industry and they go to any extent to do a favor for each other. Earlier, Trivikram penned the script & dialogues for 'Teen Maar', Telugu remake of 'Love Aaj Kal'. Now, Its the turn of Powerstar to go out his way to do his bit! If the buzz is to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is going to do a special appearance in Trivikram's upcoming flick 'A..Aa'. It is learnt that the actor couldn't say no when Trivikram approached him and also because Nithin happens to be his die-hard fan. An official announcement on this update is expected before Pongal 2016. Shooting of 'A..Aa' has been progressing briskly. Trivikram wishes to release the movie as early as possible to start shooting for Suriya's biggie from Summer next year. Most likely, This Nithin & Samantha starrer hits the screens by the end of March. Anirudh's Music is going to be a special attraction.
John, Varun ready to 'Dishoom' as 'buddy cops'
Actor-producer John Abraham and his "Dishoom" co-star Varun Dhawan have unveiled the first look of the upcoming action-adventure film. Riding a bike with a sidecar, the two actors, who will be seen as "buddy cops" in the film, are seen on a chase in the first poster. "Boom. Introducing Kabir and Junaid. Get ready to #Dishoom on July 29th 2016. #dhawanandabraham #buddycops," Varun, who has an aggressive look in the poster, tweeted. Riding the bike, John is also focussed on a distant object or person. With more men on bikes behind them, they seem to be on a desert as camels also form an important part of the background. The bike ride will definitely remind the audience of the popular sequence from Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra-starrer "Sholay". "Introducing Kabir and Junaid. Directed by Varun's brother Rohit, the story of the film is set in the Middle East and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna.
