Celluloid blamed for much extravaganza and pampers presence in our society. And some time crime also related with certain themes, as recently Contract by RGV is blamed for bomb blasts at Ahmedabad. Are these just coincidence or reality? Turning back to history of Indian cinema for example from late 1950's plots have shown mostly either hero or heroin belongs to a rich family and the story line has some advantage for glossy shots and sequences to add a taste on rich for the viewers. Crime is another genre liked by section of general and terror-horror movie lovers who seeks some iota of reality with the script. Lifestyles in big cities have both of these characteristic features on day-to-day life and at present times incidence of big parties and gala events, murders happen frequently at there. Dhan- Charity is a value encouraged by Indian philosophy and as a social system, indulging in helping others from haves to have nots. It is also highly projected in Indian films to help persons in need in particular old trendy where films are standing for ethical cum entertainers. Currently, the face of Indian cinema totally shifted and crime and sex largely dominate the taste and hence few versions like 'Munnabhai' shines in the box office. This has to be one of the debates running on Indian cinema and its impact on the society. However, several directors and producers claim what they show is reality taken from every day occurrences. There is a new trend in the film world in which persons like Choreographer Achla Sachdev organize parties to collect money for some social purpose and distribute to the needy. They name it parties against poverty. Many events are too organized with the same motive. Despite dream factory persons even sports icons who have rapport with tem too participate to share their social responsibility. All these illustrate is a kind of generosity prevalent among the new and old rich in several metros of India. However, these are just reflecting as touching tip of the ice burg, not any full fledged attempt by the society. Instead of that how many is really interested to take a message to make consciousness the public like 'Chake De India' or 'Bandit Queen' etc. in their ventures, because the impact it makes on the public mind certainly adequately strong not to forget.
