There has been no doubt in Navdeep's talent. The young man has the good looks. He has the skills. He is energetic and always raring to go. Ever since his debut under Teja, Navdeep has been marked for big things in Telugu cinema. But for some unfathomable reason, the handsome hero has not got into the thick of the things. But everyone agrees that he is only a few steps away from making it big. And everyone also feels that Premante Inthe, his movie for Sravanthi Ravi Kishore will make him bridge that gap. This feel - good youthful extravaganza will also star Poonam Bajwa, the young heroine we saw in Modati Cinema along with Navdeep himself. A remake of a successful Hindi - movie, Ramana directs Premante Inthe. Koti has strummed in some breezy soft numbers. The film is about love and friendship --- a theme eternally popular with youths. Rupali from Bangalore plays the second heroine while Sarath Babu is Navdeep's father in the film. Navdeep has set much store on the movie. And he feels his hopes are not belied.
'Linga' producer takes "Kabali" challenge
Producer Rockline Venkatesh who made huge budgeted disaster "Lingaa" with superstar Rajnikanth is back in the news. This time he's back regarding "Kabali" movie Kannada rights. Actually this producer hasn't settled the issue of agitating distributors of Lingaa and those distributors have now started threatening to stall Kabali movie release. Paying no attention to such stuff, Rockline Venkatesh has now bought the Kannada version rights of Kabali for an astronomical price. So far this is the record price a film has ever fetched for Karnataka. This is a big challenge for Rockline, because if Kabali result tumbles, then his fate is going to become a Lingaa distributor
‘Dhruva’ to face another challenge in Yousufguda
The fans of Ram Charan are taken aback when ‘Dhruva’ makers announced that the movie pre-release event is being planned in the Police Grounds near Yousufguda. Although it is a big ground compared to other GHMC grounds in the city, there will have problems for Mega fans to reach the ground. Besides the Metro Rail works in the progress, the stretch leading to Yousufguda is filled with potholes. It is in fact a challenging task to perform the event.
Venkatesh inaugurates FX Labs 'Dance Challenge'
Renowned actor Venkatesh inaugurated the 'Dance Challenge' for FX Labs today, at their studios in Film Nagar, Hyderabad. There are a variety of computer games attracting the present fast generation youngsters. Now to entertain the children & youth FX Labs has launched Arcade Games for the first time in India, titled as 'Dance Challenge' On this occasion Mr. Seshi Reddi, Founder & Chairman of FX Labs Studios, said, "Many games have been invented to entertain the children and youngsters. Our company is launching the 'Dance Challenge' Arcade Game for the first time in India, specifically in Hyderabad. The game will have songs from 50 latest films. The machines will be placed in various places like multiplex theatres and shopping malls. Each machine costs us around Rs.1.5 lakhs. We are leasing them out for a period of 3 years at the rental rate of Rs.130/- per day." Actor Venkatesh said, "FX Labs studios is the largest gaming company in India. I am sure 'Dance Challenge' game will attract the children and teens alike. The game is incorporated with updated music albums from the latest movies. I believe that the game will surely turn out successful."
Laughter challenge winner reduced to sidekick in PHP
When this man won the coveted first prize for popular television show THE GREAT INDIAN LAUGHTER CHALLENGE a few months back, he would have thought that the world of comedy now belonged to him! Little must he have known that he would be relegated to playing a sidekick to another comedian in his very first Bollywood outing. Sunil Pal, the winner of GREAT INDIAN LAUGHTER CHALLENGE, had a forgettable Bollywood debut recently as he played one of the 3-4 sidekicks to Johney Lever, who himself played a small time criminal in the film 'Phir Hera Pheri'. With barely a dialogue or two to utter, his role was nothing more than dozens of extras that one sees in a regular Bollywood film. There was some consolation for him in the form of a small appearance in the music video of 'Ae Meri Zohrajabeen', though there too he was in the far corner of the frame with not a single close shot of his! Post PHP, Sunil Pal must certainly be playing all his cards close to his heart and waiting for the right opportunity to be a part of rather than being surrounded by a dozen odd established comic actors!
