Popular director Chandra Mahesh is turning a producer and is planning a film under the banner 'Purna Chandra Movie Makers'. His recent film 'Hanumanthu' with Srihari is a milestone in the career of the hero. Chandra Mahesh says that he readied an excellent story and wanted to produce it on his own. Mani Sharma is being roped in to provide tunes for the film. Recording of the songs would begin very soon. The film will have love, family sentiment and action in its backdrop and would go to sets in February. However, the cast and other technicians are yet to be selected. Chandra Mahesh says, 'I am toying with the idea of producing many more films, once I establish as a producer with the success of my debut film. I am very confident that the film would become a big hit. I thank Mani Sharma for accepting to provide music.' MusicMazaa wishes Chandra Mahesh all success as a producer.
'Chandrahas' audio in April 2nd week
Shooting of the talkie of 'Chandrahas' directed by Sivashakti Datta and produced by Dr Harinath Policharla with himself playing the hero and Astha Singhal as heroine was completed with the canning of a song in a specially erected set at Annapurna Studios recently. Harinath Policharla says, 'We shot the film in various locales including Talakona, Chandragiri fort, Lohgarh fort in Maharashtra which is known as the steel fort of Chatrapati Sivaji, Marud Janjeera fort and a historical fort dated back to 2000 years in Arabian Sea. We are confident that the fights and songs in the film would definitely attract all classes of audiences. Editing work was almost complete. MM Keeravani gave melodious tunes for the film and the audio is likely to be launched in the second week of April. After completing all the post-production formalities, the film would be released in the last week of April.' Super Star Krishna is playing an important role of Chatrapati Sivaji in the film.
Chandra Siddhartha film to begin on Sept 12
Director Chandra Siddhartha who earned good name among the audiences with his films like 'Appudappudu', 'Aa Naluguru' and 'Madhu Masam' is turning a producer and himself directing a film. The film would discuss the women's problems which would be quite delicate. Noted Bollywood heroine Tabu is playing the key role in the movie, while Abbas is playing a prominent role in the movie and Raja is playing a guest role. The shooting of the film is most likely to be launched on September 12. It may be recalled here that Abbas and Tabu played together for 'Prema Desam' which was a super hit during those days. After a long gap, they are acting together in this movie again to be produced on the banner of Filmotsav.
Chandra Sidhartha's film halted
Erstwhile news is that Chandra Sidhartha director of 'Aa Naluguru', 'Madhumasam' fame, has planned to direct a film casting Sharvanand and Meera Chopra as hero and heroines, produced by Zee Media Network. The film was launched after performing a pooja and the usual ceremonial events, a month ago. The shooting of this film has been stopped due to some untold reasons. While, the other films which were launched on the same day, SV KrishnaReddy's film and 'Mee Shreyobhilashi' fame Eeshwar Reddy's films are undergoing regular shooting. Eeshwar Reddy's film which is casting Charmme in the lead and titled as 'Manorama' is being produced by Zee Media Network.
Sekhar Chandra to score music for Ravibabu's film
Chalapati Rao earned recognition by playing different roles such as a fighter, villain and character artiste. Ravibabu made his entry into films as an artiste to continue his father's legacy. He turned a director with a super hit film 'Allari' and bagged a good success. Later, he had directed some other films including 'Ammayilu-Abbayilu, Soggadu and Party.' While directing films on the one hand, he is playing some good characters in other films. Very recently he is planning to produce a film on his own and is busy in selecting the artistes. It is learnt that Sekhar Chandra who gave music for 'Gnapakam' recently, was roped in to score music for the film. Sekhar Chandra says, 'I bagged the opportunity, as the tunes in 'Gnapakam' were impressive and the audio was a big hit.' As all the Ravibabu's films are musically hit, the latest film would also remain a memorable hit as far as music, the film industry sources opine.
Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu strengthen bond
A month ago, Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna's daughter Brahmani was betrothed to Nara Lokesh, the only son of former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam State president Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Then it was planned to perform the marriage in August. Presently Lokesh was working in the US. It may be recalled here that Balakrishna and Chandrababu were brother-in-laws and their relationship was further strengthened with the alliance between their children. Balakrishna's sister Bhuvaneswari was married to Chandrababu Naidu. Now Naidu's son is going to marry Balakrishna's daughter.
