Sivaji Vs Dasavataram

Directed by Shankar and produced on the banner of AVM Productions with Rajanikanth and Shriya in the lead, 'Sivaji' is termed to be a prestigious film on that banner. There was a big talk that the film was made with the highest-ever budget of Rs 70 crores and would create a record in the south Indian film industry. However, it is reliably learnt that 'Dasavataram' of Kamal Hasan is also being made with similar budget of Rs 70 crores. According to the producer of 'Dasavataram' Oscar Ravichandran, they had already spent Rs 55 crores on the film and it needs another Rs 15 crores to complete the movie. It is well aware that Kamal Hassan was portraying 10 different roles in the flick and one among them is the US President. Another speciality of the film is that the technical crew that worked for 'Titanic' is working for this movie.

Kamal to dance to Himeshs to 'Dasavataram'

Kamal Haasan will next be seen in Telugu in the multi-lingual film 'Dasavataram'. We will get to see him in 10 get-ups, one more than the nine get-ups in the film Navaratri, which has inspired Kamal to make this movie. He also takes the title credits for writing the story and screenplay for the film. Navaratri had ANR donning nine characters and Sivaji Ganesan playing the same part in Tamil. Yet another highlight of the film would be Himesh Reshamiyya's music. He will be making his debut in south with this film. Incidentally, the film is also being made in Hindi. Another interesting part is that the re-recording of the music has been done by Devisri Prasad.
