After the first two posters becoming rage on social media the makers of ‘Dishoom’ today revealed the much awaited trailer. Looks like, Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Dishoom', is one promising action adventure that has touted to be one of the most anticipated films of this year. This film already made headlines with its fresh pairing in addition to its subject. And all the more the first look of the film, where actor John Abraham and Varun Dhawan are introduced seem like it has added fuel to fire. Actor Akshay Khanna is a surprise element in the movie and he is coming back after four long years.
'Dishoom' team to begin promotions at India's centrepoint
Actors John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez will visit Nagpur on Friday to promote their upcoming actioner "Dishoom". The film's team will be visiting Zero Mile Stone, the geographical centrepoint of India. "The team has planned a pan-India promotional tour for 'Dishoom' and what better than begining the promotions from the centre of India," Varun said in a statement. "Dishoom" revolves around two buddy police officers Kabir and Junaid essayed by John and Varun. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, "Dishoom" is directed by Rohit Dhawan. It will release on July 29.
Salman Khan visits 'Dishoom' set
Salman Khan surprised his "Kick" producer Sajid Nadiadwala by dropping in at the shoot of “Dishoom”. The “Dabangg” star visited the sets of Nadiadwala's production “Dishoom”, which stars Varun Dhawan, at Mehboob Studios here on Sunday, read a statement. According to a source, Salman, who is caught up with the promotions of his forthcoming film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan” was also present at the same venue. “When Salman learnt that Sajid is shooting his upcoming project next door, the actor dropped by and landed up spending a lot of time with the cast of the film. Varun also interacted with Salman for quite some time,” said the source. “Dishoom”, an action adventure film produced by Nadiadwala, has already gone on the floors and the shoot of the film is in full swing. The film also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles and is being directed by Rohit Dhawan.
Second schedule of 'Dishoom' wrapped: Varun Dhawan
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan says the second schedule of his upcoming film "Dishoom" in Morocco has been wrapped up. Varun, who was last seen in Remo D'Souza's "ABCD 2", took to micro-blogging website Twitter and shared: "The 2 Nd sched of #dishoom is wrapped. Gonna miss everyone. We have just one aim to give you the best action adventure film of 2016. salaam". “Dishoom”, an action adventure film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, has already gone on the floors and the shoot of the film is in full swing. It is being directed by Varun's brother Rohit, and also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. Meanwhile, the "Main Tera Hero" actor would next be seen in Rohit Shetty's upcoming movie "Dilwale, which stars the iconic Bollywood couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The film also features Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani and Vinod Khanna among others. It will release on December 18.
Shooting of 'Dishoom' scenes swapped after John Abraham's injury
The makers of the upcoming action-adventure film “Dishoom” have decided to swap actor John Abraham's action sequences with other scenes that require more dialogues and close-up shots due to his injury. John, who injured his knee earlier this week while shooting for another film “Force 2” in Budapest, has been advised to take rest for the next three weeks and has been told not to indulge in any action shoot till the time he recovers completely. The “Welcome Back” actor has almost wrapped up the first schedule of “Dishoom”, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna. The second schedule required several action sequences to be shot in Abu Dhabi. However, keeping John's injury in mind, the makers have jointly decided to shoot other parts here and do the action sequences later. “Considering John's health, the high octane action sequences have been swapped with dialogue oriented sequences of 'Dishoom',” the spokesperson of the film said in a statement. “Dishoom” is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
