It has been reported that more than half of Dhanush’s ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon is completed and the shooting for the rest of the portions is expected to begin soon. A news from unconfirmed sources is doing the rounds that Gautham Menon is making his full fledged acting debut as a powerful villain in ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ which is kept under wraps. Though there is no official confirmation it will be quite interesting to see the soft spoken GVM as the antagonist. The film which also stars Rana Daggubatti and Megha Akash has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Atmus Entertainment to distribute Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta and Kaatru Veliyidai in USA
Mani Ratnam directorial Kaatru Veliyidai starring Karthi, Aditi Rao Hydari and others is expected to release in March 2017 while the Gautham Menon’s film Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta featuring Dhanush and Megha Akash is set for a Valentine’s Day release. Now we hear that Atmus Entertainment, one of the leading distributors of Tamil films in USA, has got the rights for these two films in Trump’s land. They confirm the same though their Twitter update that says, “Both ATMUS releases all over USA”.
Surprising news about the villain of 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta'
Facing the camera is nothing new for director Gautham Vasudev Menon. In fact he has made us feel as if he is very much interested in acting as he has made sure that he appears in at least one shot in the films directed by him. He has made memorable cameos in the film 'Kaakha Kaakha' and 'Yennai Arindhaal' and also dubbed for some of the other actors in his films. Recently the director was supposed to act in an important role in a Malayalam film to be directed by Vineeth Srinivasan. That plan had to be eventually dropped as the 'Minnale' director go busy with his directorial commitments. But now if we have to believe the information we get from an unconfirmed source, Gautham is soon going to surprise us with a full-fledged role in one of his own films. And that is going to be a negative character. We learn that Gautham is secretly playing the lead villain in 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta' which has Dhanush and Megha Akash in lead roles. The shooting of the film has been progressing on a rapid pace since March. Rana Daggupati is also playing an important role in the film. Gautham Menon Not Playing Baddie, Dhanush To Sport Two Different Looks In 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thota'
Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, contrary to recent reports, won't be playing the antagonist in his upcoming Tamil film Enai Nokki Paayum Thota, which stars Dhanush in the lead. "Gautham sir is not playing the baddie. He is too busy juggling between the sets of two projects, including 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' with actor Simbu. Where will he have the time to act? It's just a rumour that's going around," a source close to the director told IANS. Gautham is currently busy wrapping up the last schedule of Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, and will soon return to the sets of Enai Nokki Paayum Thota. Dhanush will sport two different looks in the film, which is being produced by Ondraga Entertainment. "He has already shot his portion with one of the looks. He will sport a new look and shoot rest of the portion," the source said. Megha Akash plays Dhanush's leading lady in Enai Nokki Paayum Thota, which is expected to hit the screens later this year.
