The official teaser of Inspector Dawood Ibrahim aka IDI, will be officially released on YouTube by today (July 1st) evening. But, the teaser has already been released on the official site of Eros Now. The 1.05 minutes long teaser is a power packed one, with overloaded masala elements. The teaser is filled with larger-than-life fight sequences and resembles the teasers of some heavy masala Telugu films. So, we guess that IDI is a real spoof movie which takes a dig on the so-called 'mass' films of Southern industry. Otherwise, it is a purely entertainment oriented film with some exceptional action sequences. The major surprise factor of the teaser is leading lady Shivada Nair's fight sequence. The way certain characters are featured in the teaser is very similar to Lijo Pellissery's gangster spoof film Double Barrel.
'Idi' - Destination Bangkok
Sakthi Chidambaram will be off to Bangkok for the story discussion of his next venture 'Idi' starring Sundar C again. Both Sundar C and Sakthi Chidambaram have teamed up for 'Sanda', which is doing brisk business at the box office. Sundar C has clarified that shooting for 'Idi' would kick off once he completes 'Ayudham Seivom', 'Perumal', 'Thee' among others. Plans are on to rope in Vijayashanthi for 'Idi'. Sakthi Chidambaram meanwhile stated that he would henceforth do only action-packed films with mass commercial elements.
'Idiot' to start rolling by June
'Idiot' the film that has Aamir Khan playing the lead role is all set to role out towards the month of June. This film will be directed by Rakjkumar Hirani. The hunt for finding the heroine for this film is on. 'Idiot' comes under the genre of comedy that also has a social message for the society. Meanwhile, Reliance Entertainment has penned a deal with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer. Reports also indicate that the film 'Idiot' is a part of the deal. The chairman Reliance Entertainment is believed to have said that the producer is in the process of lining up the films which will be finalized in a few days time. Chopra is also having a string of films that he will be funding which includes the Big B starrer 'Talisman' that will see Ram Madhvani in the director's chair. Reliance Entertainment had also penned a deal with Excel Entertainment of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar sometime back. 'Rock on' their first film is already underway that has Farhan Aktar, Arjun Rampal and the soap queen Prachi Desai essaying lead roles. This will be Prachi Desai's first break in Bollywood.
Arey Idi Ra Chiranjeevi Ante
Chiranjeevi was the chief guest for Movie Artistes Association (MAA) Dairy 2017 inauguration. MAA Members felicitated him on the eve of his comeback into Industry with 'Khaidi No.150'. After a formal cake cutting ceremony, Chiru said: 'I am overjoyed to see how welcoming Industry has been for me. I wholeheartedly thank all of them. My 150th Movie will make all of my brothers proud...they could proudly say 'Arey Idi Ra Chiranjeevi Ante' upon watching the movie. I have given my best performance relying on the hardwork. 'Khaidi N.150' will have all the ingredients in right proportions. Once again, I thank everyone for this honour'. Audio Lauch of 'Khaidi No.150' scheduled to take place on December 25th got cancelled. Ram Charan is planning for a pre-release event in the first week of January 2017. Theatrical release could be on January 13th, 2017.
'Three Idiots' begins the journey
Another clean comedy filled movie to be enjoyed by the whole family is on its way. No other description can be better suited for a film being made by Rajkumar Hirani. The movie is 'Three Idiots' which has none other than Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani doing the main roles. With this wonderful star cast, the film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra is going to corner a huge chunk of media space in the coming days. Shantanu Moitra is the music composer, Abhijat Joshi along with the director has written the screenplay and the lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire. Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi had ganged up before and proved to share a great chemistry in the blockbuster 'Rang De Basanti'. Right now only the portions which do not need the lead actors are being shot. The leading cast members will start shooting their parts in September and as of now the shooting is being planned to get over by December. The main shooting locations are Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Ladakh.
3 Idiots started their Journey on August 26
The first shooting schedule of Vinod Chopra Films next mega venture '3 IDIOTS' was commenced on 26th August 2008 in Mumbai. The first scene started with a bang in an aircraft with R. Madhavan. The next schedule of a 20-day will be held at Ladakh wherein lead pair Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will participate. '3 Idiots' is the next edition from the maverick director of hit Munnabhai Series Rajkumar Hirani and toplines Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, for the first time together. The film also features R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Director Rajkumar Hirani who is quite thrilled with the project says, 'We are literally off to a flying start :-) It was amazing to shoot inside a real aircraft. We are really excited and raring to go." '3 Idiots' is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and written by Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. The lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire and music is being composed by Shantanu Moitra.
