I would love to see Mahesh as James Bond: Krishna

Superstar Krishna has been given the Kalaprapoorna award. He has been meeting the press on the occasion. Like always, he is a man of few words. Despite being the reigning superstar for a long, long time, Krishna is not one to talk of his achievements. He is modest when it comes to accepting his stardom. However, since he is doing some important and interesting roles once again, we asked him what role he would love to play most. 'Sivaji,' he says without batting an eyelid. Though he got to play the role in Chandrahaasa, he is not satisfied as it was a small role. He hopes he would get to play a full-length character as Sivaji before he calls it a day. Meanwhile, he is keen also to see son Mahesh as James Bond. We all know that Krishna was the actor who set the trend for thrillers in Telugu. His 'Mosagallaku Mosagadu' was a record-breaking hit and there has been no film to match its style till date in Telugu. Though Mahesh once tried a similar role in Jayant Paranje's film. It failed at the box-office and Mahesh stayed away from such experimentation ever since. But now from the superstar, we know that Mahesh too loves to play the Telugu version of the secret agent, who makes the women swoon world over. Now, who could be a better choice than Mahesh to play Bond? Our vote's for you Mahesh! Anyday, anytime!

The film is touted as a stylish James bond film and it will be produced by R Venkat on RR Movie Makers banner. Though initially Surender Reddy planned it with Mahesh, due to unavailability of Super Star’s call sheets, the handsome offer landed on Power Star’s laps. Mahesh Babu's Next Movie Name - James Bond Film Agent Shiva?

Superstar Krishna's essayed James Bond roles in movies like 'Goodhachari 116', 'Rahasya Goodhachari', 'Goodhachari 117' and a couple of more films. His 'Agent Gop', which hit on screens in 1978, was a super hit then. If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, Prince Mahesh's next film's title has been confirmed as 'Agent Shiva'. James Cameroon inspires MS Raju

That MS Raju's directorial debut is a remake of Kannada film is no secret. 'Vaana' is all set to release on January 15 and the producer-turned-director says that though the film is a remake, it has been changed a bit to suit the tastes of the Telugu audience. He is not particularly anxious about directing a remake for his first venture. In fact, he points out that James Cameroon too had made Titanic that was made three times earlier in Hollywood. But people only remember Cameroon's Titanic today, he adds. Finally, he is very happy that he has chosen a subject that would touch the hearts of the audience, just like it touched his when he first watched it.

I am going to Hollywood only to bump into James Cameron: Huma Qureshi

She has worked with Irrfan Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the past. Huma Qureshi will now share screen space with Malayalam star Mammootty in her upcoming film. She also has an international film with director Gurinder Chadha in the works. The actor reveals that she bagged the international project after several rounds of auditions. But she says that she isn’t someone who will chase a role. “You see me do lesser work compared to my contemporaries. It’s because I never chase a role. There are roles that I can pull off, but I feel what is meant for you, will come to you. The process of auditioning is good. That helps deserving people make the cut. You will get a role on the basis of your talent and not simply because you are famous,” says Huma.

James Bond to arrive a week before 'Dhoom 2'

After a close call between 'Krrish' and 'Superman Returns' earlier this year, an interesting arrival of biggies belonging to similar genre is all set to happen again this November. While Yashraj Films' 'Dhoom 2' was moved from the Diwali weekend to November 24th a few months ago, it has some competition in the form of 'Casino Royale', yet another addition in the James Bond legacy, that releases on November 17th. Both the flicks are based on an action theme and boast of some never seen before action sequences. Daniel Craig, latest addition as James Bond, bringing on the challenge to the might of Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan? Now that calls for some real 'masti' and 'dhoom'!
