Jayasurya's Look In Fukri Revealed!

Jayasurya, is one such actor, who has always made it a point to sport different looks for the different characters that he portrays. The actor, who was most recently seen in the film Pretham, did sport a tonsured look for the character named Don Bosco, in the film. Jayasurya would be next seen in director Siddique's upcoming directorial venture, which has been titled as Fukri. The actor would be seen in a stylish get-up in the film. Jayasurya, himself revealed his look in the film through a Facebook post. The actor has sported a thick and well-shaped beard for the film. By all means, it is a stylish makeover for the actor in the film. It has not been confirmed whether the actor would be seen in the same get-up throughout the film. Jayasurya would be seen playing an engineering drop out, who is also a kleptomaniac. Actor Lal essays an important role in the film. Prayaga Martin and Anu Sithara handle the female lead roles of the film Fukri, has its script written by director Siddique himself. His previous directorial venture was Bhaskar the Rascal, which had Mammootty in the lead role. The upcoming film also marks the debut of Siddique as a producer. The film has been jointly produced by Siddique, Vaishak Rajan and Jenso Jose.

Jaya to direct Allari Naresh

Senior journalist Jaya who made her debut as director with 'Chantigadu' is ready to direct 'Allari' Naresh, who became a busy hero with 'Kitakitalu'. Popular publisher and senior journalist BA Raju, who had already achieved a hattrick with three successive hits like 'Premalo Pavani Kalyan, Chantigadu and Premikulu' is producing this flick. It is reliably learnt that 'Allari' Naresh agreed to give dates to Jaya after the completion of 'Gopi ' Godameeda Pilli', 'Allare Allari' and 'Seema Sastry'. Only after completion of these films, Jaya's film would go to sets, the sources said.

Jaya hopes to make Hindi-English film

Well, she says she loves films like Namesake. In fact, B Jaya also confesses that she is already working on a similar script and once it is ready, would be making it either in Hindi or English. She is anxiously awaiting the release of her film Sawal, where she has directed the film for an outside banner. Jaya Prada, Sai Kumar get Sri Krishnadevaraya Award

The Telugu Vignana Samithi conferred Sri Krishnadevaraya Award on Dialogue King Sai Kumar, eminent litterateur Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, popular yesteryear actress Jayaprada, and writer Dr. Baragooru Ramachandrappa. The award was given away on the hands of Siddaramaiah, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr. Yarlagadda said, "It feels proud to be conferred an award instituted in the name of Sri Krishnadevarayalu. 'Aadi Kavi' Nannaya was a Kannadiga. I urge the government to promote the language of the Telugu linguistic minorities in Karnataka". Dr. Jayaprada said, "If ever I have a life, I will want to be reborn as an artist. Although I was born in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka is like my in-laws' home". Dr. Ramachandrappa said, "The Telugu and Kannada people are proving how to live harmoniously in contemporary conditions. This has to be an ideal for the rest of the country". Dialogue King Sai Kumar said, "Although Telugu is my mother tongue, Kannada is my life tongue. I want to produce a TV serial on the life of Sri Krishnadevarayalu".

Jayasuriya dropped from Sri Lankan squad

Colombo: Veteran Sanath Jayasuriya has been dropped from the Sri Lankan squad for the Bangladesh tri-nation series after his poor performance in India. The world's most experienced ODI batsman, Jayasuriya, has not been named in Sri Lanka's 15-man squad for the tri-series involving India and Bangladesh as the other two teams. Jayasuriya, 40, who just completed 20 years of international cricket, has represented the country in 444 ODIs, scoring 11,825 runs. The selectors have also left out batsman Chamara Kapugedara, fast bowler Lasith Malinga and spinner Ajantha Mendis, who were part of the Indian tour. Sri Lanka lost the three-Test series 0-2, split the two Twenty20s and lost the five-match ODIs 1-3. Batsman Mahela Jayawardene, all-rounder Angelo Mathews and bowlers Muttiah Muralitharan and Dilhara Fernando were not considered for the Bangladesh series, having picked up injuries in India. They have been replaced by newcomer batsman Lahiru Thirimanne, Chamara Silva, legspinner Malinga Bandara and fast bowler Thilan Thushara. Jayasuriya turns director

The brainy actor Jayasuriya is soon to turn a director. But this will be for his new film 'Punyalam Agarabathess', in which he will play the role of a ad film director. The actor is all set to speak in a Thrissur slang in this movie which will be directed by Ranjith Shankar. The director who has earlier announced his two projects with Prithviraj including 'Mayflower' and Sudhi Valmeekam' has pushed those films to next year as they requires much pre production. Renjith Shanakr will kick start the shoot of 'Punyalan agarbathees' by next month.
